This is a great book, her sis was born on my B-day & her Mother lived w/her sister in Portland. It's very touching. In spite of Marilyn's family life she created her own persona and was never a kept woman. A Plus read.

Thank You for this video. After watching it and sitting here for 20 minutes (with a few tears), I had to respond. You have really touched my heart and soul, DEEPLY. Beautiful sisters........is Berniece still with us? I saw a 2010 pic and I am printing it as I type. Does she still live in Florida? One interesting bit of trivia-their mother Gladys died on MY Birthday March 11, 1984. ALSO-my own mother died January 11, 1984-2 months before Gladys. kinda spooky to me.... :) again,ty
