  • yeah 50 cent

  • Which program do they use at 3:10?

  • @egeert I think it's Autodesk Flame

  • @hogwashsentinel yes they used autodesk flame to enhance their video :p

  • @egeert autodesk flame

    great product

  • @ashmantoronto It seems stupid to point to Wikipedia to validate my argument...

The section on the single-shot sequences pretty much ratifies what I've said and the citations all point to reputable sources that say the same thing. That normally means something is true.

The shots, as I've said, aren't all 100% real. While the shots were filmed in one go, different takes are mixed in the final product to appear as a single take. The PhDs in the Film Department here say the same.

    Sorry, "Dude."

  • супер я просто в ахуе ! как бы хотелось работать в такой команде !

  • Полный пездец !!! Амеры вы просто чокнутый креативнй народ !

  • whats name of the music?

  • could not hold me!

  • They show it here at 3:24, take a good look at the brass, it is much too long for 5.56x45 NATO or .223 Remington, it looks more like .30-06

  • Only thing that would of been better is if they didn't have the wrong size brass ejecting from the wrong side of an AR-15. Didn't even need a second run through to see that.

If you are going to do spent brass, make sure it is proper for the rifle and is ejecting correctly.

  • @FarmerGriff you sound like my brother-in-law .. he masks his pompous, pretentious attitude regarding his self-proclaimed, masterful knowledge of firearms, as some sort of constructive criticism, when it's just him trying to sound intelligent - It's like he doesn't realize that no matter how much he picks apart the weaponry in the media he digests, he's still sifting through shitty movies and video games, just to stare at fictional violence.

Philips should be embarrassed ..and so should you.

  • good effects but can anybody sayme with wich software I can delet things too in a video . THX

  • @ momo i dont really quite get what u mean by "delete things too in a video", but whatever u wanna do, adobe after effects should be fine...

  • wow.. nicely done!

  • @sk9utube yes, and I am happy for it. I would rather have a commerical like this that is stolen, but looks good than a dumb commercial

  • Thats what it was supposed to be. Research helps you know.

  • When i saw this filme for the first time I really think that it was all CGI...for the nice moviments of the camera..really..really cool!

  • @3DmanBR I wonder if a full CG version would have been cheeper...

  • Oh yeah very cheeper, but the results was amazing..great idea..great job.

  • cool. now i subliminally want a philips tv

  • Violence means more Money.

  • i wish thsi was an actual film.. it looks kinda cool.

  • NASTY EFFECTS!

  • @meerkat1954 this is awesome and definitely a work of art

The person who sees this and thinks violence and death I pity because they have completely lost contact with real life

  • I'm not a blood and guts guy by any means.

I hate how all horror movies have been replaced by low plot gore movies because they are disgusting and meaningless to me.

However, not all violence is wrong. People are violent things and being completely sheltered from it wouldn't end violence.

Beauty can come from chaos. My best friend I met in a fistfight.

Correct me if I misunderstood you because the skelter reference was above my head.

I apologize for my original comment it kinda attacked you.

  • Wow. This was amazing. Nicely done Philips

  • @ejicon no nicely done, Stink Digital!

  • Anybody know what software is used at the end of the making of? Is that Nuke?

  • I dont get how it all looked so smooth though without any cuts, theres no way it was all one take right?

  • it's possible

Children of Men (film 2007) had several single shots, including a ten minute, one shot only only action scene.

Also, 'Russian Ark' is a film with 2000 live actors of a 120 mns film, one single continuous shot. No reshots, just one single take. Look it up, it's on youtube

  • @ashmantoronto Those long takes in Children of Men are actually false single shots-- they are stitched together using some sort of editing software to make it appear as a single take.

  • @LandonKM Uh, WRONG. They're not false single shots, they even had them on 'the making of' in the extra scenes. And that's one of the reasons Children of Men was nominated a couple of times in many Film Awards as best film.

Sorry dude, there's no cinema magic involved in Children of Men's single shots

  • @LandonKM Not all of them are. For example, the scene in which Own runs through the bus and into the apartment building was actually one long, continuous shot. The director was reportedly upset over the shot because a blood packet splattered onto the lens of the camera at one point and they had to keep going.

  • no surprise they won cannes

  • what is the song in this video

  • Philips is from the Netherlands.. so why Swedish accent?

  • *sigh* some people huh?

  • Well, this ad was shot by a British agency, which hired a Swedish music video director. That's the way things work now.

  • Ok, thanks, didn't know ;)

  • Oh my goodness, he's got the most Swedy Swedish accent ever.

  • Wow. I was trying to figure how they did it. Now looks a lot more simple.

  • Superb work!

  • shit was SO cash

  • well, fuck you?

  • yeah fuck this

  • nice make of the video

i think is too dificult make a video like this

  • point four actually

  • kick ass!

  • nice movie!

    spectacular!!!

  • to me it looks like Shake the apple compositing program...they have used it for many feature films

  • It was done in Flame.

  • awesome

  • awesome

  • see the video ok you're rigth of 50 cent is like this

  • What program are they using for the editing when they paint out the dot and wires?

  • paint!!!

  • Its Mario Paint on the Nintendo 64.

  • It is their own software

  • Excelente trabajo impecable producción

  • Wow, a lot of work, and great outcome ;-)

  • is this out???

  • Phillips should make real movies about those clowns. Would be fucking A

  • @EUROSUN1 4 sure that would b amazing im sorry lol

  • @EUROSUN1

Phillips is not a movie company

  • @Electroposit neither sony but maybe it is a good idea to enter in the industry

  • @amesea

Sony IS also a movie company though...

  • Comment removed

  • @HungryTacoBoy Yeah I know but what i meant is that neither Sony WAS in the movie business in the beginning but they got indulged that's all thanks 4 reading

  • @amesea

Ahh, I see what you mean now. :)

  • @Electroposit That doesn't mean the can't

  • @CamiFisher

the can't??? what i think what you meant to say was they can't.

That's just dumb. its like saying Coca Cola sells soda but it doesn't meant they can't make movies 8P

  • @CamiFisher

    with no disrespect

  • Awesome! Only if HD format was 2:35 and not 1:85.....

  • Your missing the point though, films in the 2.35:1 format are put onto Blu Ray's this way, so it will still be HD on this TV, seeing as all it does is cut the black bars off.

  • Actually, I think you're missing mine. 2:35:1 Blu Ray movies will look spectacular on this. Unfortunately, over 90% of HD television content is produced in 1:85, which means that even with proper AFD flags the aspect ratio will need to be altered. So this TV is GREAT for "cinemascope" movies but not HDTV. BTW, most games are produced in 1.85 as well.....

  • Aren't the black bars part of the HD pic?

  • Yeah

  • WOW for sure.

    great Commercial

  • so cool

  • FANTASTIC

  • Love it!

  • Wow

  • Amazing!

  • Does the Full-HD ad come with the tv?

  • One word : Breathtaking !

  • REALLY COOL! Love the website... :)

  • That's how it was done. Very simple but soooo cool. I'm going to brief my wedding video guy on this technique for bullet time cake cutting.

  • What is your plan for your filming for the wedding cake? And if it works out - will you post on youtube? Sounds interesting!

  • omg, freaking awesome
