  • Thank you! Very helpful video!

  • Why do all the threading videos insist on using a thread which people can barely make out? Can someone use like a thicker string to show demonstrate the initial holding of the thread?

  • thanx alot...

  • you are so cute! thanks so much for that :) mwa

  • its agr8 video really helpfull!:)

  • cud it be used to remove upper cheek hair

  • Yes

  • Thanks a lot I always wondered how threading worked!

  • nice xx

  • You may want to use WHITE or LIGHT-COLORED thread in the future; I can't see what the threading looks like against your dark hair to see the shape of the loop.

  • It originated from PERSIA .

  • No, it originated in India and is part of Ayurvedic practices.

  • don't put too much pressure on the threads. i hurt my fingers at one point but when i used less pressure, it was okay. if you're threading a larger area, wear bandaids.

  • @iheartkayden so THAT'S why bieber wears bandaids all the time

  • I used bandaids. I know what your talking about cause the thread cuts right into the backs of your poor fingers. maybe some disposable gloves would help? I have no clue.. hope that helps

  • i ended up trying this and i got thread marks on my fingers which hurt me more than my eyebrows...

  • how in the world that asian girls get faical hair? aren't they supposed to be like 100% hairless well i see the phiplone men are 100% hair less any way

  • asian girls do have facial hair & it is visible cos we r not white skin'd like the europeans

  • i agree! but some have white skin.

  • that looks very painful

  • it is but wen u get used to it then its ok

  • lol i was looking for the dance style threading lol

    but this is still good

  • Now this made sense to me, tonight was my first time trying to thread and I think I got some skin, really hurts.

By the way, how do you make it so that the thread doesn't feel like it's sawing off your fingers?

  • i know it really hurts with the friction aginst your fingers, tell me if you find out how to avoid that plz.

  • Well, it hurts less if you use all five of your fingers... but that needs some more thread too. Like I was doing it last night and it hurt so I stuck multiple fingers in and that made the pain seem... less painful.

It's sorta like if you get poked with a needle, it hurts, and if you get poked by like 10 needles in the same general area it doesn't hurt THAT badly... something like that.

  • OWWIE!! the thread cuts into your fingers!

  • This is great thanks alot, for those of you trying it for the first time, its best if you practice on your leg or something first to get the hang of it, :)

  • fanks alot mate uve helped...lol

  • Oh thanks I was wondering how to do it from the very beginning... I'm thinking of trying this method. Less scarring and pinching it seems.

  • how do you use that method? i would love to learn. do you have a vid?

  • sorry for the stupid ques but is there a certain thread u shld use? the thread i use tends to get fuzzy quickly or shed...

    thx

  • i use a poly/cotton blend. i've heard it's best to use 100% cotton, though.

  • i like it!! i will have to try it, thanks for this, very helpful

  • asian women are so phukin hot!!

  • i tried this many times but my knot wont stay

  • there is no knot. just twist the thread a few times.

  • I have been trying to thread my upper lip after watching this video..and I keep getting skin instead or any hair. any tips?

  • try pressing your lips together and thread gently. putting too much pressure on the thread to your upper lip will cause more of your skin to get caught in the thread.

  • the best way to not get skin is to tighten ur skin, Like in the area ur threading, stick ur tounge under that area so its tight

(: trst me. i thread my stache all the time lol

  • You are just adorable!!! Love the video - looking forward to trying this myself!! :-)

  • you're great

  • wow your way easier! I watched three videos and i find this easier!

  • omg thankkkk yooou soo much

this will deff help me. ur waay is easier then the waay i see my moms friend does it lol thanks a bunch

  • very cool... saw a lady getting it done in the mall before

  • ill give it a go now i know how to start, thanks, u put alot of much needed info

  • Thanks for the help! I was looking at articles online that were pretty unhelpful, and they suggested using twice the length of thread, which made my hands tire really quickly. I'd suggest practicing on your leg hairs, though, because using it on facial hair hurts a lot.

  • Thanks for the video!

  • no special thread. any thread will do, although i prefer to use cotton.

  • hey where do u buy the thread oe is there a special kind of thread?

  • THANKS! ;)
