I'm not a big fan of these new songs or Ada, but to be honest Anneke's solo work is much better than TWP. TWP was a boring piece of crap. Anneke has become successful and more well known in her country, and I for one am happy for her. TG became a generic, awfully boring band after Anneke left and will continue in the road of mediocrity.

I agree she has wasted her talent by leaving an extra-ordinary band (TG) for the mundane and ordinary. Can't really blame her as she has more chance of getting the mainstream exposure with ADA - it's just musically so unfulfilling.

I'm a big fan of The Gathering and sadly I must say that AdA dissapointed me a lot. This band is totally average and imo can't be compared to TG. Probobly Anneke likes this kind of music but I think that one of the best women in music is just wasting herself in such a common songs.

When you listen to TG with Anneke you feel emotions. When I'm listen AdA I feel nothing. Just a pretty soft songs that you listen for a while and forget few minutes later. There is nothing that favour this band from the other. Even her voice is not as good as it used to be in TG. Or mayby I'm just The Gathering freak so everything different seems bad for me? Anyway for me it's just a squander of Anneke's potential.
