"Disease is mild to general understanding" is the risk Hong Kong can't take.

His Arguement are very defensive.

While on one hand he said that Hong Kong is a high risk spot for disease transmission, on the other hand he said that Hong Kong are acting too aggressively.

I just think Hong Kong are acting one step ahead to prevent any transmission of disease, and the consequential influence on tourism, seeing what SARS has done to Hong Kong. I don't think they are acting too agressively. It is what must be done.

H1N1 is a flu~~not SARS! Just like a common flu, the symptoms of H1N1 is mild although it spreads easily. He said we have 2 flu seasons every year, so u reckon we should quanrantine everybody 2 times a years during the flu seasons?!

The spread of H1N1, like the common flu, is inevitable. All we need to do is to keep our city clean, and wash your hands as your kindergarden teacher had taught you. These would not only prevent H1N1, but will prevent others diseases as well. Quanrantining hotels and over panicing are clearly not necessary in this case, and just wasting the tax-payers money!!

Thousands die each year from Hong Kong's appalling air pollution and the government does little to address it. Along comes this virus and we have a massive commendable reaction - it would be nice to see the same commitment to tackling the air pollution.
