Brett McKenzie is pretty talented, but his Man or Muppet song is not actually all that spectacular. 30 seconds and you've heard it all. His Flight of the Conchords work is much better.

On the other hand this Rio song really captures the spirit of Samba and is worth listening to considerably more. Being both a kiwi and having Brazilian in-laws, I'm happy that either song won, but on artistic merit, there's no doubt Real in Rio is a vastly superior composition.

@biridm Isso é o que vc pensa. A escolha leva em consideração muitas coisa. Não é o ritmo mais bonitinho e alegre. Eles analisam também a letra e a riqueza melódica. No casa da música dos Muppets, ainda tem o fato de que muitas da pessoas que irão votar cresceram assistindo a essa série ( não sei se vc sabe, os Muppets passam na tv americana e inglesa, há mais de trinta anos) e, com certeza, muitos desses jurados votarão com o coração.
