what all did you have to do to the motor? bigger injectors, fuel pump. Anything internally? I have a 95 five o that i'm thinking of running a procharger on But I have to rebuild the motor and new heads first.
If you get the full kit for the 95 Mustang, then technically you won't have to do anything to the engine. You can use the stock injectors and fuel pump, and due to the FMU it will spike the pressure so you don't run lean.
However, after the first year, I elected to buy 32lb injectors, a new 48lb MAF, and a 255lph pump. Then I removed the FMU and used my Tweecer RT to retune the MAF. It ran fine and the 30lb injectors were only running at a max of about 80% duty cycle.
i never really new what the yellow line from 5 or 4 to 6Grand ment in the 90 to 93 LX, Im thinking that it's there for a caution point, meaning dont stay in the zone to long? the red, i know. if anyone knows what it rep's, please tell me.
hey i recently bought a 1995 mustang gt 5.0 l and i was wondering i any body knows who make a spool superchager for this year like the type that mounts on top the motor... so far my mods to the car are.... msd ignition 3:73 gears bbk ceramice coated headers 3inch h pipe with no cat running flowmaster 40's
They are called roots or twin screw supercharger, not spool. Not trying to bash, just clarifying. And as far as I know Kenne Bell is the only company that makes a twin screw for the 5.0.
yeah haha thanks i acceidently put spool but i already had found that kenne bell makes would u know of any oter company that makes that style of charger
hey i have the same car as you color and all..was just wondering how much boost with went with and what size injectors you have..im installing a procharger this winter and am trying to lay out a plan of attack.. check out my video under ryan's mustang burnout
I need to update the video. Made a few changes since this was posted (MAF, injectors, moved the intake air filter, etc.) But thanks! What are you running?
I absolutely LOVE the fox for racing, etc. But the SN95s aren't bad if you want the best of both worlds. It's a convertible, so it's great to cruise around the beach, etc with the top down in the summer. Ans when it's track time, the roll bar goes in and I hit the strips.
If it was strictly for racing then I would have went with a fox all the way.

For the 5.0 no. Now if you had a 4.6 mod motor you could go Whipple, KB, Magnuson, Saleen, or Roush.

10 PSI of boost w/ 30lb injectors. It puts them right around an 80 - 85% duty cycle though, so I could jump it up to 36# or even 42# if I wanted to.

Too new? It's a 12 year old, 430 RWHP 5.0L 302 CID engine.

95's are too modern looking, I don't like the rounder bodies.

What's a fox?
And the only reason I like the older models is because of the style, all the newer models have way better options.

Fox = the older "fox body" mustangs, like the ones you are talking about.
