Yeah, I do that talking thing too with pretty much anything. I can hardly get anything done sometimes because I keep getting up and pacing around, talking about something that I just thought about. Unfortunately, I didn't get into the whole Harry Potter fandom until late 2009, and I don't live anywhere near wrock shows or conferences. But I'll go one day! Hopefully! :D

I talk to myself all the time too! Plenty about Harry Potter but also other fandoms, fanfiction ideas, imagined conversations, plans and dreams, Life, the Universe and Everything. I usually pace as I do this which irritates my mother no end.

You're quite a bit younger than me, but with a time machine, I would totally have been your friend in sixth grade.

Harry Potter didn't come on the scene until I was a freshman in college, so it's fascinating to me to see how much more deeply it's affected the half-generation after mine. It makes me wonder, too, with the last movie coming out, how will it affect my son's generation.

I had to watch this video in three short installments on my breaks at school, haha. I'm glad you like harry potter so much and I can definitely relate a little... I've never been a very dedicated fan, but I certainly enjoyed the books very much growing up and would probably consider them the most impactful books on my life. Also, I still have my wristband from the HBP book release.

And for christmas one of my friends bought me two packs of HP silly bandz.

These videos always make me upset that I wasn't such an open HP fan back then. Not that people didn't know that I loved Harry Potter, because God know they did, but I never went to any conferences or midnight book releases because I was too little, and the first midnight showing I went to was Deathly Hallows Part 1 (I went with my friend and dressed up as Trelawney - it was AWESOME). I guess my experiences were more private, like having Half Blood Prince to help me after my grandfather died.
