Review the 1872 Mining Law. It is outdated and does not recognize current realities. Call your congressional representatives, support repeal of this law and creation of comprehensive water management that recognizes the federal rights to water on public lands.
I live in Oregon and I see the logging trucks on a daily basis carrying away our forests. Everday entire forests are being cut down, the wildlife losing their homes and the watersheds being destroyed--enough already! Thank you Nancy for giving your life to saving our water supplies, taking on the mining corporations, and educating the rest of us!
