I just wanted to say thank you so very very much for all the left-handed crochet videos. I can't tell you how frustrating it is to hear "just learn to crochet right-handed because patterns are written right-handed". I can't just learn a new hand dominance :(. But with your lefty videos, I *can* learn to crochet more than a knotted mess! THANKS!
@ohnoforresst@tjw1963, I agree - I am left-handed as well and the lefty videos are very helpful. I can do some things right-handed, but crocheting is not one of them. Thanks!
@nerofan24 It sounds like you missed one of the corners. The written instructions are posted on my crochet blog. The link is below the video. You will find written and symbol instructions. The symbol instructions will help you see the stitch placement.
The first round will look like a circle, maybe even the second round a bit. Once you start adding the corner increases, it should start to take the shape of a square.
Could you PLEASE do more left handed tutorials? DId I say PLEASE? Your video's are the only ones I can see where to put the hook into. I just dont get that part yet.
Thank you so much. I am left handed and have a lot of trouble, but love to crochet.
My only true (turned out as suppose to) afghans was the pattern that is a huge basic granny square. Now this puff stitch is an awesome thing that I can do. I love that I dont have to go back and forth to complete a counted number of stitches per row. I have trouble seeing what stitch was the ending stitch from previous row and miss counts and increase or decrease when I am not suppose to.
This is really really cool. I have always wanted to learn how to do the puff stitch. i was wondering, have you ever made a video using a puff stitch to make a hat and or scarf?
another amazing design idea for my baby blanket :)
