there should be a tutorial for how to make only one jump with platform movement because the only way i know how to do it is to change the button controls and i don't think that's convenient enough.

In Blitz basic you'd use something like

IF jumping = 0 then **jumpcode** ELSE jumping = 1.

It's probably something very similar in GameMaker...

Kenny, you are partially right. What this kid is doing is not game making, he is dumb, i mean seriously. He is using premade stuff that comes with the program, and yes, they are also pre programed. But lets ignore this kid for a sec. There are addons that allow you to use different programing languages. If I'm not mistaken, ClickTeam is working on adding flash programation. Actually looking forward to that.

ActionScript is based on Java which in turn is pretty much c sharp. You can build some very very good games with flash!

These game makers a have crap automated scripting languages built in with a lot of limitations..If you want to make games, learn programming!

Well yes,, you can use Game Factory on a intel Mac if you install Vfusion ware or Crossover<---but not sure of crossover. Game Factory is only for PC but this won't stop you if you have and intel Mac =D
