Your claim that he is merely a victim of his environment is naive and short-sighted. His actions were not rational. Psychology has a long way to go before we can determine this.

He held a lot back and then he did act out on it in the only way that made him feel good and loved. He finally felt like someone was there for him and they wouldn’t let go. Possibly he killed them on the spot so that they wouldn’t take a step away and ever dare forget him. He wanted to be burned in their memory so that their last memory could be with him.
A lot of people say that he was a disgusting person, but some of this wasn’t his fault. He was an innocent child once too. If he hadn’t been molested and hadn’t felt so lonely and abandoned maybe he wouldn’t be the infamous Jeffrey Dahmer that we all know today. You can say that he is a sick person and you can say that humans don’t act this way, or you can look up to him and think he is clever. You all have your different views on him and he is a fine example of hiding your emotions.

He wanted the pain to go away and his behavior was a sign, I think if someone asked him to stop he wouldn’t. I didn’t know that he was molested, that probably triggered a lot. I think his father should’ve bonded with him more and protected him. I know he felt much attached to his victims remains because when he had them hidden in a box they made him feel loved.
He was a very lonely person and keeping these body parts completed him. Maybe his mother leaving him made him feel abandoned; therefore he had those sorts of issues. I know that his parent’s relationship was a rollercoaster. From what I see in interviews they both try to blame each other for Jeffrey’s confusion and actions. They both try to convince the press that the other is a liar. So maybe his parents played a big role in this.
And as of Jeffrey, obviously he had a mental disorder. I'm not sure if he was born with it or it just developed over time. But he did abuse animals whether they were already dead or not. He had a problem with communicating, . He was unable to associate with people in a normal and friendly way. From what I see I personally think that Jeffrey views his actions in 2 ways. I think he regrets it but not to a point where he is now hurting and I also think he doesnt feel as if he was wrong.

I would guess that he was also schizotypal due to his tendency to isolate. Also when in the care of his father, he was not exposed to any knowledge of a higher power of central source energy (God), so he didn't have a conscious or clear understanding of why humans should adhere to what is "right vs wrong".

@DecayedOfferings She was extremely angry at him. She has the right to lash out at him. Unfortunately the cops were there to prevent her from advancing towards him. If I were her, I would wait till the trail is over, run over to Walmart, grab a couple of 100% sulphuric acid and sugar, dump them on them and watch him turn into a black solid mess.
