  • either pugh shoulda worked up to the lb or the guard should have. its actually a good cut if the guard just went up to the backer

  • its football, you pussys, quit whining

  • Haha they are so dirty... Nick Farley is no exception. Spearing Aaron Murphy after the play. AU=garbage

  • i dont blame auburn for doing these type of things, its the only way they can win

  • @TheRedHandOfVictory u mad bro?

  • Comment removed

  • @WarEagleAuburn89 what's there to be mad about, its just a game. Who cares if auburn's tradition is to hurt people to get them out of the game.

  • @TheRedHandOfVictory you couldn't name a single other instance of chop blocking by auburn. you watch one clip of Auburn, and then label them dirty. You are probably just some pissed off bammer trying to rationalize that 24 point comeback.

  • AUBURN is the dirtiest school in SEC football.

  • @2r3notgoodas1 u mad?

  • @AUfan34 Mad about what? looking down at a inferior School like auburn pss yea right.

  • @2r3notgoodas1 inferior? hmmm... what was the name of that team that won the national championship this year? i think it started with an A.

  • @WarEagleAuburn89 iam happy for the SEC and AU but its a tainted title and LSU won their title as team, not just cuz 1 player get your facts together. if cam newton had stayed at that jr college AU would have never even gotten to 5 wins deny that biatchhh !!

  • @2r3notgoodas1 How exactly is it a tainted title? You have to have been cheating for a title to be tainted. How exactly is Auburn cheating? Do you have any proof? Yeah, thats what I thought.

We did not win this title with just one player. Watch the first half of the iron bowl to see just how good Cam is when his O-Line isn't blocking for him. Yeah, not very good. We had a veteran O-Line, a 1,000 yd receiver, a 1,000 yd runningback, Nick Fairley, a great defensive line, AND Cam Newton contribute

  • @WarEagleAuburn89 I dont think it is just "bammers" thinking that the title is tainted or that auburn was a two man team. Leave it to a farmer to rationalize shit playing

  • @imagod65 you are right, it isn't just bammers. its all the other teams out there who are butthurt and make excuses for themselves by accusing others of cheating. thats how its always been and always will be. so it doesn't really bother me. and how exactly am i "rationalizing shit playing." also, calling me a farmer is a pretty big stereotype. and a stupid one at that. auburn is one of the better science and engineering schools out there. so most of the "farmers" down here are smarter than you

  • @WarEagleAuburn89 hahahahha I doubt it. Havent heard much from that school. And don't worry I am not an engineer, just an organic chemist. The stereotyping of the auburn farmer is due to the fact that farming is a major that you have down there. So I back it up with a little bit of facts. Also, tell me what surrounds your school please. K thanks

  • @imagod65 ummm... a city surrounds auburn. and it doesn't matter if you have heard from it or not. auburn is a great science and engineering school. there have been several astronauts from here. and so what if farming is a major. it is a major at many other schools at well. those people grow the food you eat dumbass. our country couldn't function without farming. so our school both produces for the country and produces some of the great scientific and engineering minds out there.

  • @WarEagleAuburn89 so....you contradict yourself but that is okay :). And the engineering program MAYBE I can agree with is pretty respectable but your science program isnt what you make it out to be.

  • @WarEagleAuburn89: Yea, so I guess the NCAA are just jealous of Auburn and that's why they're the most probate team in the SEC.

  • @PooPoo2U Did you honestly come back here after seven months??? Hahahahahha, talk about obsessed. And Auburn definately isn't the most probate team in the SEC in football. I can't believe I am hearing a Bama fan accuse another team of cheating. Your team has been on probation for the past 17 years dipshit.

  • @WarEagleAuburn89: And yet still somehow Auburn has more separate violations. Your argument is tantamount to saying a mass murderer with a 2 year sentence is less wrong than a tax dodger who somehow ends up with 10.

    More separate instances= more cheating.

  • @PooPoo2U I would much rather have 3 separate violations (late 50s, late 70s, early 90) because it means Auburn isn't constantly cheating like some other bitch ass program across the state. And wow, that analogy was in no way correct. Bama isn't some innocent "tax dodger." they have had several serious violations in the past 17 years, and the NCAA was even quoted saying that Alabama was one voilation away from the death penalty. More seperate instances isn't more cheating. Bama= 17 yr probation

  • @WarEagleAuburn89: No, my analogy was pretty apt. Either way, hope you guys enjoyed the game as much as I did!

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • @2r3notgoodas1 honestly i don't think auburn would of won a title without fairley either he deserves alot of credit

  • @plafonte i have nothing against farley hes a great player.

  • @2r3notgoodas1 im just sayin auburn is not a 1 man team its at least a 2 man team

  • @plafonte nothing against fairley or newton. but AU in general would really suck with out those 2 guys especially if newton was never there fairley was there for 4 season and AU won nothing meaningful until newton got there so even with fairley(hes a great player) they would have still sucked. In other words they can thank newton alone for this title.

  • @2r3notgoodas1 Your entire comment is completely wrong. 1st: Fairley didn't see significant playing time until the 2010 season. 2nd: Take away the two best players from any team in the country, and they won't be nearly as good. 3rd: You can actually thank the largest senior class in AU history. Cam would have been nothing without that oustanding offensive line. There is actually proof of that in the 1st half of the iron bowl in 2010.

  • @cmasax06 no its not. Even high school teams do it

  • NO place in football for that. It can easily ruin a player's career! Any player caught doing this block should be permanently banned from the game. Any coach that allows it to occur, or encourages a player to perform a chop block should be banned from the game. Not only is it physically dangerous, it is the cheapest shot a player can take on another player. If it were up to me I'd have anyone found committing the penalty be immediately castrated with no anesthesia!

  • STFU. Auburn is not the team that chop blocks. Evryone does it . offensive linemen are trained to do it for certain plays

  • @0532tim

No, they are trained to CUT block- you CANNOT engage a player low when someone is blocking him high already. That can cause career ending injuries. NO ONE is trained to chop block, and not "everyone" does it. That's a pathetic, generalizing, unsupported excuse for Auburn's lack of class.

  • @cmasax06 lack of class? this is one example of doing it. sure, if we pulled one once every game, but there is only that i can think of that have happened since 2007. every team makes a mistake and chop blocks sometime. don't act like auburn is the only team to make a mistake.

  • auburn players can't win so they have to play dirty just so they can win

  • ya chop blocks are dirty but ive played d line for 6 years and they happen a lot and most of them dont get called so stop actin like only auburn does it and grow the fuck up

  • Chop Block U

  • this is bullshit he could have ended the guys career, just cause u cant make a block doesnt mean you have to injure him

  • wtf this fucker should be fined but just because hes on offense its fine though

  • Guys, this IS a chop block. The defensive player is engaged with an offensive blocker (#71) before #50 comes in and takes out his legs. If #71 had just dove forward and taken out the players legs, this would be legal, but since #71 had engaged him instead, nobody else can come in and take out their legs without it being classifed as a chop block.

  • What a pussy!!! CHOP BLOCKING BITCH!!!!!

  • auburn is nothing but a bunch of cow fucking faggots. just goes to show what a classless bunch of worthless shit heads that cess pool of a school produces

  • you must be a RUGBY fan

  • Yea, going at someones knee is for real men! Its like walking up on a fight and slapping someone in the back of the head and running off. GET A CLUE YOU MORON! Youre a f***ing idiot.

  • Cutting is leagal..as long as the defensive guy isn't engaged with an offensive lineman...then it's a chop block..which should be a 15 yarder

  • i thought this was cut blocking.

i thought chop blocking was when they push the offenses hands off, right?

  • When one of the linemans already engaged in blocking the defender, noone can come up and cut block, if they do it is considered a chop block, same rule goes for a blocking running back. Number 71s already engaged trying to block the defender and Pugh cut blocks him.

  • Chop Blocking is blocking at the kness and pushing them down so they can get up.

  • im 5'8 195

my leauge the average lineman is like 6'3 250. im a god of chop blocking, think im going to make a montage of it. lol

  • 27-21 Roll Tide

  • ROLL TIDE

  • atleast we keep our state above water.

  • at least were good at football. what now fagget just stfu and do yourself a favor and move to louisiana.

  • dude we're good at football too, we beat y'all.

  • w dude ur a fukin dick hahaha. anyone agree?

  • come on LSU and now them shame on ya'll coach get back to da basics NO CHOPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • woah bama had a good season finally. im sick of hearin about auburns first bad season in a while, damn and saban doesnt give a shit about his team as long as hes paid 5 mil hes fine

    so back off

  • 12-2

  • u think Saban gives a fuck about chop blocking? I don't hear anybody sayin shit when the lineman lets the defender by and he crushes the quarterbacks spine bc he gets hit from the back. Then u blame the lineman for letting him through. Thats why they wear helmets and dont have to pay for college or their car(in Bamas case). They take risks so shut the fuck up and stop whining.

  • you are a dumb barner. Go get a coach with class. You think Tubby is holding up them 7 fingers now? Auburn= Clop block University.

Auburn=5-7 Auburn= Trash Have a good Christmas and a happy new year barners, the bama nation still has some things to take care of! Rot in hell Awbarn!

  • HE GOT NAILED BYA HELMET TO THE KNEE its dangerous and illegal.... chop blocks besides it looked like he went for it... cya tubby

  • This is Auburn football to everybody who doesnt know what the program is about. The Auburn football team has always played like this trying to end someones career. Ryan Pugh is a image of the fan base and everything they stand for. Low life trash! Rot in hell Awbarn!

  • i remember a time when auburn played with a bit of class and dignity. as much as you can expect from a bunch of trailer trash dirt farmers at least. then they hired tubby and the cheap shots started coming more and more frequently. pugh tried this a couple of times towards the end of this year's iron bowl too. fortunately no one got hurt.

  • yup, i watched this.

  • Same homo from the LSU game. What a douche trough.

  • no its not. in the lsu game it was 75 the right guard. this times its the left tackle -0(?).

  • Sorry, I didn't mean to put that

  • Yeah, we are not thugs. There are MANY other teams that are worse than that. Also, our coaches wouldn't tell one of our players to do that. I know our O-Line coach and he is one of the best coaches in the SEC and he wouldn't do something stupid like that to damage his career. Chaz Ramsey just made a really dumb decision and it didn't get called as a penalty. Now, you have to agree with the fact that every Auburn-LSU game for the past few years has had a missed call or two for both sides.

  • fuck you

  • You suck

  • typical boog mentality

  • Heading into the 2008 season and you guys are still crying.

  • auburn has 2 b the most careless college football team evr. they're lucky the refs were 2 blind 2 call it when they chop blocked glenn dorsey.

  • Since when do 2 chop blocks make a team the most careless team ever?

  • hahahaha. That's hilarious and True. ROFL.

  • what are you talking about? Glen Dorsey is the highest rate DT in college football this year, not just by the media, but by actual NFL recruiters. I think they know a thing or two more than your dumbass about good football players. He left the Auburn game early because of a hamstring. When he came back he dominated again, that is until that little bitch Chaz Ramsey chop blocked him.

  • Dorsey kick your ass 0_0

  • Quit being little bitches it didn't end any futures, and watch any football game highschool all the way to pro you will see them every few plays by every team.

  • auburn has to be the most classless team in college football. they did the same thing to LSU. tommy tuberville is calling these plays and nothing happens to him. he's a jerk.

  • That was a poor play and I am glad Dorsey is okay. Thug U though? Tell me how Perriloux remains on your team. You have to remember that these were True Frosh playing. Chaz was trying to chip the guy which was legal. He didn't know Ziemba was going to engage him. The thing I like about our rivalry is that there is a big mutual respect between these two teams. I can tell you there was no intent to harm, and Ramsey has been through a lot because of it. Dorsey forgave him in the papers...

  • I actually feel sorry for these Barners. Football Players don't forget.Don't be suprised if these "Choppers" on this squad become targets out on the field of some vindictive LSU player next year, or even some random player that wants to take one of them out for fear that if he doesn't he'll be the next victim. They now have a stigma, and I don't think youtubers are the only ones talkin' about it. Even 1tuberville apparrently has adopted it as generally accepted policy for the barn.

  • We're gonna chop Darlin' Nikki at West Vance...recruitin' aint winnin' and ya'll ain't winnin'

fuck bammer and the pig they rode in on!

  • i mean... the discussion of if these types of plays happen or not shouldn't even matter. Yea they happen, but thats not the point. The point is that someone INTENTIONALLY goes low towards a players knees with the INTENTION to take them out. There needs to be harsher penalties for players that take these actions. They can ruin a player's career and possibly his life due to the results. I hope we don't see any more of these any time soon

  • again.. dirty and cheap...typical auburn..... cant argue it...they proved all season long by these cheap shots

  • Wahhhhhhhhh.

    6.

  • what does 6 have abything to do with aburn schooling illeal thug like chop blocks?

  • ryan pugh is just a dirty o line men. a little to dirty. its good to have a oline with a mean streak but this is bs. i know some guys on the auburn football team and this pugh guy is a real dirt bag. no one really likes him

  • Some of you are really that ignorant to actually believe that people teach these illegal blocking styles. That is bush league for you to actually believe that. If you have ever played the game, there is a level of respect that gets higher and higher at every level you move up and there might be some stupid moves like that in say cross town jr high and high school games but not at the level of play between Auburn and Clemson or even Auburn and LSU.

  • Taught or not, it's still dirty. And please, don't be so naive to think that there aren't players in the league that could care less about the career of the guy lining up opposite them. Most NCAA athletes do have that respect, but some certainly do not.

  • All that i was saying was that if it is taught it was at the level of play of an 8th grader. Most guys do not give a shit about the guy across from them but they aren't going to try to hurt them or end their career intentionally. MOST being the key word. And i did acknowledge that it was dirty.

  • Agreed.

  • 2ommpointer...I have learned in life that anyone who boasts their resume doesn't have one. Stop telling me and others that we don't know anything about the game. If YOU had any sense of the game you would know that a play happens in a split second, and young players will hit anyone in front of them. Young players having missed assignments can make chop blocks occur. You wise up fool. It happens everywhere.

  • Ah, I see. You boast your resume, and I'm supposed to believe you have one. You just contradicted yourself, chief. Make excuses all you want, but I'm not buying the "missed assignment", "new offense", or "freshman mistakes" arguements. Must be some crazy coinsidence that AU took out 2 outstanding interior lineman during 2 critical games...

  • who won auburn or clemson

  • Football is a contact sport. Every athlete knows that he has to look out for the safety of his knees while he is on the field. If you don't want to get hurt, then play soccer with all the pussies.

  • soccer has a higher incidence of permanent injury than any other contact sport according to every single medical survey in the last 10 years. and chop blocks are dirty any way you look at it... it's not like the auburn player didn't know he could injure the clemson player by hitting him low. i doubt that is something that needs to be taught to auburn students... or is it?

  • Are you actually insinuating that it is Dorrel Scott's fault that he got chop blocked, because he didn't "look out for the safety of his knees"? That is outrageous, and you haven't a clue about the game.

  • The "new offense = freshman mistakes" defense doesn't work for Dorsey. I think it's bush league no matter how you slice it. I'm not so sure that this "only happened twice" this year for Auburn either. There were certainly 2 blatant instances of this which resulted in knee injuries. It is still illegal whether you hurt somebody or not.

  • To all of you who use the "Freshman" excuse for this - think about that for a minute. A chop block is just as against the rules at the high school level as it is at the college level. To assume that these chop blocks are simply "Freshmen" mistakes is to assume that these guys have never played the game, and that would be completely foolish. So wise up - chop blocking your opponent is playing dirty, plain and simple.

  • actually in high school foot ball a low block in the free block zone(three yards in front and three yards behind the line of scrimmage is legal, cheap shot, but legal.

  • not when the player is engaged.

  • do low blocks include cut blocks?

  • That sucks

  • Do u dumbasses even watch football?? this is so common, and u see one chop block from auburn and we are suddenly "Trash" get a fuckin life. We are truly the nice college in the world. Tell me what is Trashy about that???

  • you are "truly the nice college in the world". really? if so, they must have left out grammar in the curriculum.

  • Maybe some folks didn't successfully complete their writing assignments, but until your school has produced more than 500 NASA engineers and 6 NASA astronauts, shut up about Auburn's academic reputation.

But, believe me, the campus is one of the most friendly in the country.

  • oh a chop block auburn is sooooooo classless, they are nothing but a bunch of thugs, get a life you idiots, you dont see auburn stomping on the logo of vandy, or crankin that soulja boy or getting arrested so stop your excuses cause you just sound like you have sour grapes

  • Chop-block U, way to go auburn. You are truly pathetic. And I love how your excuse for it is a "freshman mistake" It truly sucks to be an auburn tiger.

  • If Auburn had LSU academic standards, only then would I say it sucks to be an Auburn Tiger. LSU is a institution I would never allow a child of mine to attend.

LSU = Cheap-Shot U. Woodson, Tebow and Munnerlyn can all vouch for that.

FYI, with 10 practices in the new offense, mistakes and missed assignments happen. Everybody was greener than a freshman in that regard.

  • Let's see... out of 943 plays this year AU chop blocked 2 times both by true freshman. Your calling them thugs because they got called for chop blocking .002% of the plays. Get a life and learn more about football before you post such trash.

  • i would definetly call the two auburn guys that did it thugs cuz they're cheap and tried to end two promising careers.

  • Please. I can't even believe i'm responding to this. I'm sure AU's game plan was this, "okay guys, we're going to end this guys career tonight and take home the Chicfila Bowl trophy!" ascenine.

  • cev7788 obviously knows nothing about football and never played football. Blaming it on "young players not knowing their blocking assignment" at the end of the season in the bowl game shows how incredibly foolish you are. Could you be anymore sympathetic to Auburn. Wise up, chief. Kids playing football at this level don't get away with the "oops, I'm just a young player and I don't know any better" excuse. Get a clue.

  • You people are idiots. There are chop blocks like this all the time...it is almost always because of young players not knowing their blocking assignment. To say they are all intentional is ridiculous because that would mean your beloved schools do the same. As far as the hate for Auburn, its understood...47-15 in the SEC since 2000, which is tops in the league. Suck it Bama and crying Clemson.

  • Well, I can't remember the last time UA produced a graduate with half a brain or an ounce of class. Case in point, Don "Crook" Siegelman.

But I'll give our guys the benefit of the doubt with a completely new offense installed only 10 practices beforehand. I just don't want to see that happen again. Ever.

  • A Cow college fan talking about academics and class? Right, I guess you know every single person who graduates from UA, right? All I have to say about Auburns academics is "Bo know".

Even with 10 practices, anybody who knows how to play football knows it's not that hard to avoid a chop block, and that looks pretty damn intentional. But i'm sure it was just a coincidence that the chop blocks happened on the opposing teams best defensive player, and they also happened early in the game.

  • All I have to say about Auburn academics is that we have 500 NASA engineers and 6 astronauts.

Talk "cow college" if you want, sidewalk alumnus, but without agricultural schools like us, you'd be starving right now.

Auburn had no motivation to get anyone hurt. Everyone knows that this game was not a make or break deal, just a chance to test a new offense. We hate it happened.

Typical red-headed stepchild, aren't we. See you at Jordan Hare-West.

  • Okay, we have an understanding that you are, indeed, a cow college. I don't know if Auburn had any motivation to get anyone hurt, but the chop blaocks were definitely suspicious. Not to mention, anyone with average reflexes could have avoided that chop block. Not saying it was coached, but it did look intentional on the players part.

Heh, at least we don't have to give Bryant-Denny Stadium a cute name like "The Jungle". Cracks me up everytime.

    Roll Tide Roll little bro!

  • And we have an understanding that you folks at UA are academically worthless.

I hope you're ready for another $4M whuppin at Jordan Hare-West or Bryant Denney or whatever you call that place over in Tuscaloser where you still haven't beaten us, lil' sister.

Those things happen in a zone blocking scheme. I doubt that it was intentional, but it made the Auburn fans as sick to see it as it did everyine else, since it makes a very clean program look dirty.

  • avoid a chop block?! Are you stupid? If you don't see it coming, hints the guy holding him up, how the hell are you going to avoid it?

  • Hey CrimsonJimmy...you do realize that Auburn, this cow college you speak of, was voted number one academic institution in the state for 12 straight years don't you? Not only do we have more students than you, but every credible list, including US NEWS WORLD REPORT, the most famous list, had Auburn over Bama from 1995-2007. Pretty funny how we are better without a law or medical school. Ha.

  • Ha, I don't really care about your academics, I call you a Cow and Barn College, because that is my opinion of you.

But, this is typical talk of a Barner. "We may only have one National Championship from 1957 (that you can officialy claim according to polls and the NCAA), but we still have good academics!!!11

Whatever helps you sleep at night man.

  • Typical sidewalk alumni. All opinions and no facts.

That's why we don't give a flip about your 12 so called championships, most of which were awarded by the Tuscaloser Times. We have opinions backed up by facts.

Bama has no medical school. Auburn has top flight vet school, science/math, architecture, engineering, education, and agriculture schools, and decent liberal arts and business schools. The law school is really the only thing Alabama does well, and it's still no Harvard.

  • It's your mother that helps me sleep!! after the spunk-bath!

  • what scumbags

  • the dawgs kicked their asses

  • all you morons who know nothing about college football need not talk about blocking.

  • there should be no chop blocks in football

  • This one is just blatant as the lsu one. Their conference office needs to suspend that player.

  • I'm a huge auburn fan and the dorsey one was on purpose I think but not this one any way he should be pulled. I'm sure Tubby will straighten things out.

  • auburn six

  • you mean auburn sux

  • Chop Block U.

  • Auburn is trash they held Clemson all game and had more chop blocks go uncalled. Auburn pieces of shit.

  • Scoreboard!!

  • thats why im hollerin roll tide

  • People didn't realize in the Alabama game they chop blocked Ezekial Knight (#47) and he had to leave the game for a while. So it's actually 3 times I've seen them do it.

  • Actually, they leg-whipped him as he was coming around the end, but point taken.

  • pathetic honestly

  • What a dirty play. Auburn, real classy.

  • Once is an accident, twice is a trend. It is obvious that this is being, if not taught, at least not discouraged at Auburn. I was gaining some respect for them in recent years. It is 100% gone now. Cheap, dirty, and totally uncalled for.

  • what a buncha thugs

  • Chaz Ramsey is the Joran Van Der Sloot of the SEC.

Auburn is dirtier than a public toiet seat.

  • And you're a filthier w**** than Nancy Grace.

  • 2nd time that has happened this year from an Auburn lineman. I hope the guy from Clemson is alright.

  • Most auburn fans here aren't to happy about it either. I was watching the game in an auburn household and they wanted the player ejected/off the team.

  • Needs to be an automatic ejection...

  • Auburn need to stop with the chop blocks, and the coached need to be blame for alowing that to happen. Either the coached need to get fired or some of the football players need to get kicked out of the ncaa.

  • okay, against LSU it may have been a "freshman mistake" but now I think it's obvious that they are coaching this at Auburn. Twice in the same season, and it just happens to be against very good defensive players...no longer an accident. I hope for the sake of our players knees we dont play against these guys again.

  • New offense installed after regular season = EVERYBODY making "freshman" mistakes. Post and chop is definitely NOT coached at Auburn, though, regrettably, it did happen twice this year.

Auburn runs a very, very clean and disciplined program. We aren't afraid to bench our starters when they break team regulations, even more so for DUI charges.

Clemson is a lot like us as an institution, and we have a lot of respect for you. We regret this happened.

  • somebody needs to kill that mutha fucker....

  • shut up

  • Barn trash.

  • Chop block U.

  • typical barn trash. hope the clemson player is ok.

  • Cant wait to hear Tommy's excuse this time

  • Tuberville is a piece of shit.
