Guys, this IS a chop block. The defensive player is engaged with an offensive blocker (#71) before #50 comes in and takes out his legs. If #71 had just dove forward and taken out the players legs, this would be legal, but since #71 had engaged him instead, nobody else can come in and take out their legs without it being classifed as a chop block.

okay, against LSU it may have been a "freshman mistake" but now I think it's obvious that they are coaching this at Auburn. New offense installed after regular season = EVERYBODY making "freshman" mistakes. Post and chop is definitely NOT coached at Auburn, though, regrettably, it did happen twice this year.

Auburn runs a very, very clean and disciplined program. We aren't afraid to bench our starters when they break team regulations, even more so for DUI charges.

Clemson is a lot like us as an institution, and we have a lot of respect for you. We regret this happened.
