  • yeah this isn't any different, just at a different speed and lower key or some buzzy bullshappy, all the licks are identical to the original

  • @bennamenify hey have you listen to the rest there a deffinant differences near the solo the lyrics are changed i thin this was a very close take this might have been take 24 or 25 because i have an instrumental and it was take 21 the master as we know it is take 27 witch lol seems ironic

  • He was the Best and the ONE!!!!

  • This is great for trying to learn his many many guitar licks!

  • @5H4V3D89 The album is rare in mono

  • This is definitely at the wrong rpm. Look up Jimi Hendrix Crash Landing Rare. It is only available on LP and it has the exact same problem. The licks on guitar are even slow.

  • @ZeppelinFan6980 you cant play along with it?? remember jimi tuned a half step down

  • @blackdude57 No I'm not trying to play with it, I'm just listening. Listen to the vocals. They are very sluggish and drag on. This sounds like its on LP and its at the wrong revolutions per minute. That's why it sounds soooo slow.

  • @ZeppelinFan6980 i HEAR THE VOCALS FAINTLY

  • @ZeppelinFan6980 i HEAR THE VOCALS FAINTLY ITS IN G D E F F#G

  • @blackdude57 I HEAR THE VOCALS TOO DUDE! I'M SAYING THAT THEY DRAG!!!!! Look, whoever uploaded the video is playing this on vinyl. When you play a record on vinyl, you also have to check how fast the vinyl is supposed to play and play it at that rpm or it will be sloooow like this. I'm not talking about tuning or the progression, i'm saying the RECORDING is being played at the wrong RPM. If it were sped up on the RECORD PLAYER, it would sound faster. It has nothing to do w/ the master recording.

  • @ZeppelinFan6980 now I understand

  • @ZeppelinFan6980 I've also experienced similar slowdown to this recording with a European record player plugged into a US outlet. Makes everything slightly off because of the different currents. Though that could be solved if there were a dial that controlled the RPM.

  • still some good shit

  • This sounds like its being played at the wrong rpm or smtn. The pitch of his voice sounds far to low and the beat seems slower than hendrix usually keep up. I think there is another version of this on youtube played at the right speed

  • HAPPY FUCKING BIRTHDAY JIMI

  • This is technically not an alternate take; it is the take used on the album minus guitar overdubs and for some reason slightly slowed down.

  • @MaxiHuski I agree. There's a lot of this about on youtube, lol.

  • @MaxiHuski IF (big if by now) you can find the French imports/exports released of Jimi's three albums they are all much more raw in some ways but unspoiled in others. If you use a tape machine in Europe and forget to switch the Hz from 60 to 50 it will play slow. Now they are quartz controlled synchro motor, etc, but back then who knows. I do know I would love to find the French releases and the 12 record Astan set. I have part of the Astan stuff all Radio One stuff, and loads of Jimi on vinyl.

  • isn't it also not a bit slow down?

  • FIRE!!! A Great Record And An Even Better
