billionaires can't fund another candidate's campaign anymore because of the (anti-1st amendment) restrictions of the McCain-Feingold Campaign Finance "Reform" Act. McCain-Feingold, like so much else passed by Congress, is just another way to insulate the incumbent politicians and established parties from real opposition by violating the rights of the people to speak contrary to the politicians and "to petition the government for redress of grievances." This "reform" needs to be repealed.

Third parties need to work on getting more seats in lower public offices before they'll ever have a chance at the presidency. Show that ideas work on lower levels. It is less about media bias and more about people's views of the viability of third party's ideas, which are sometimes very different from current prevailing views. Build strength and credibility from the bottom up.

It'd be nice and all, but in North Carolina, they didn't give you a choice on the ballots to vote for a 3rd party. I'm not agreeing on all of McCains views, but at least he's the lesser of the 2 evils. BTW, keeping military in Iraq, it's no different from what we did in Germany, and Korea.
