at 1:30 in there is a repeated strike in the same place just like war of the worlds, on the left of the chimny , , there is also some kind of number or letter .9 or .2 at exactly 1:00 it flashes so try and be presise, messege me, somethings gunna happen ..
do you know how long this storm lasted. i can see you cut out parts where the lightning wasnt as often...i wonder if you can post the actually full recording to see how quick the lightning was coming.
They were taken from about 20 minutes of continuous video footage. It was a very intense storm with a lot of strikes. Over all we had lightning for about 90 minutes, but this was the peak time as it passed over us.
I am sure Thunderstorms like this one do occur in Chile as well as in most other places around our dramatic planet. It was nothing over the top, just a really good strong cell that happened to pass right over me.
Mother Nature is amazing with her displays of dazzling light threatening yet soothing thunder. Little is as awe inspiring in the sky as watching a dense cloud system form into a super cell, that distinctive anvil shape at the upper levels. Then the light begins to fade into a greenish tint as it becomes darker. Soon the clouds above swirl in anticipation. Eddies form as hail begins to fall and lightning strikes all around. I just pray that if one spawns a tornado it isn't going to come to me.
terrifying beautiful Jason, here in Santiago of Chile never we have storms like this and the 30 seconds ends are really a deep breath of Eolo, thank you for so wonderful video
Nice one Jason! we don't get to see too much of pictorial Storms like that over here but out of personal choice I prefer to hear your musical creations!
No worries, more will be on the way. I've actually run short of video / photographic material to provide with the music. I'll have to take some more road trips with the camera soon. =)
what camera did you use?
