@purplebear100 i think the Production of this set is ended....try on Ebay...
but for the same Price you could build your own Power Function Car...and it will work better than this set....i was very disappointed by this...bad steering bad driving...bad technic...look on Lego.com for the powerfunctions stuff....you need 2 m motors ,1IR reciever,1remote,1batteriebox....and than start ..........

ive added gears to mine and it goes faster, i attached the big gears to the motor and slightly smaller ones to the wheels, it still wheels spins a little on smooth surface and goes faster. Ofcourse custom design, NOT one out of the box

No...they got both the same motor inside...it looks faster because of the bigger Wheels....i Don`t like both sets..they are cheap made....you cant really make your own models because of the big motor and steering box...

No...i dont like it so much....its better to built your own Rc Car,with the new Powerfunctions....
Because the Steering of this model is bad....and its not analog...so steer right is far right...and forward is only one speed.....but for the price its okay....but not the best choice.....

But you get the yellow one..8183 its the same, only not so much lego parts in it....
