I'm not defending Santana because she's my favorite, I'm defending her because I can relate to her. Coming out is a big thing, and she wasn't ready; she had seen what had happened to Kurt and she didn't know what she would do in that situation. Dude, Santana is a bitch. She has a badass voice, and she's beautiful, but let's not forget her bitchyness. She needed a slap to wake her up, and she got one. It sucks, but it was predictable and if she was an actual person I knew I'd probably say she had it coming. That being said, this was probably one of my favorite Glee performances.
i'm sort of on the fence with the whole, did she deserve being outed or not. on the one side, she does get to know what it's like to be bullied, just as she had done to so many other people. but on the other, no one deserves to have something they can't change to be announced to the world before you yourself has had a chance to accept it. santana is a complex person, but that's seems to be just a mask to hide that deep down, she doesn't know who she really is and now she's forced to decide.

In one episode when she tells Brit she loves her and she doesn't say it back you can see how insecure she is about it and she feels a fool for loving Brit. I have Bi friends and i would never have outed them like Finn did but you can see why he did it. In a roundabout way he did it because he cares. I love Santana, she has so many layers to her personality and her insults are priceless !

Okay, he was a bit malicious about the way he did it but in a way Santana is a real bitch to him so maybe in a sense he did it to get back at her but also to give her a bit of relief that everyone knows. It would have come out anyway. By outing her, it makes the new directions do a lesson on it and make her see she isn't alone.

i was bullied, eventually i snapped and gave as good as i got, by calling the girl bullying me a drag queen, turns out, she used to be bullied for looking slightly manly, she spent the rest of the day in tears. but, after that day, she eased off on me and we ended up not being friends as such but we were civil and respectful of each other. neither of us was right, but neither of us was wring, i think its the same here.

Let me say one thing.
I'm not defending Santana because she's my favorite, I'm defending her because I can relate to her. Coming out is a big thing, and she wasn't ready; she had seen what had happened to Kurt and she didn't know what she would do in that situation. She isn't a coward, she's afraid, and there's a big difference between being a coward and being scared.

Dude, Santana is a bitch. She has a badass voice, and she's beautiful, but let's not forget her bitchyness. She needed a slap to wake her up, and she got one. It sucks, but it was predictable and if she was an actual person I knew I'd probably say she had it coming. That being said, this was probably one of my favorite Glee performances.

i'm sort of on the fence with the whole, did she deserve being outed or not. on the one side, she does get to know what it's like to be bullied, just as she had done to so many other people. but on the other, no one deserves to have something they can't change to be announced to the world before you yourself has had a chance to accept it. santana is a complex person, but that's seems to be just a mask to hide that deep down, she doesn't know who she really is and now she's forced to decide.

Santana is a bitchy character, but i think thats just because thats her way of not getting hurt. In one episode when she tells Brit she loves her and she doesn't say it back you can see how insecure she is about it and she feels a fool for loving Brit. I have Bi friends and i would never have outed them like Finn did but you can see why he did it. In a roundabout way he did it because he cares. I love Santana, she has so many layers to her personality and her insults are priceless !

@Puddingcakes98 Because he sees how unhappy she is.. if you watch the episode after this one, he explains that her hiding who she really is just making her hurt more. Okay, he was a bit malicious about the way he did it but in a way Santana is a real bitch to him so maybe in a sense he did it to get back at her but also to give her a bit of relief that everyone knows. It would have come out anyway. By outing her, it makes the new directions do a lesson on it and make her see she isn't alone.

Whether he was trying to help or not it shouldn't have been his choice when she decided to come out. Coming out is something someone needs to do on their own time. And it was awful what Finn did. I'm just mad that Finn didn't face any consequences besides the slap. I'm tired of Finn always being the hero despite the fact that he does awful things.

i was bullied, eventually i snapped and gave as good as i got, by calling the girl bullying me a drag queen, turns out, she used to be bullied for looking slightly manly, she spent the rest of the day in tears. but, after that day, she eased off on me and we ended up not being friends as such but we were civil and respectful of each other. neither of us was right, but neither of us was wring, i think its the same here.

@brnigrlfl1 Brit is bi-curious. And they don't "bully" each other in that sense. Except for Santana. She's a MAJOR bully. But that's the way her character is. I think she's kinda funny though. But I kinda wish the writers would make her less of a bully. She can still say sarcastic comments, just not being a bully. It would surely show how Santana has developed during the show's 3 seasons. Especially since she is a lesbian.
