One question i used to use this video card on Asus Motherboard and i was getting 52 idle temps and now i change pc and im using gigabyte motherboard and im getting 59 idle temps and i put hand behind case and now i dont get much air like i used to do before and feel air .. now i dont feel it . what can i do ?

the fan speed idle is 23%-24% i have antec case with 6 BIG FANS ... so lot of air ... any help to make fan run faster would be great. thank you

is a very good card, price/value is just alright, aniway i found it to run a bit hot and noisy...i solved the problem with a "twin turbo pro"(by artic cooling) the temps are dropped from 90° to 53° @full load and from almost 60° to 32° @idle.

so if you encounter any temps issues, i really suggest to get one of those.

Core 2 Quad Q9400 is by far the best Intel CPU to get if you cant afford the cheapest i7 model, or if you dont need something that hardcore. its 2.67 ghz stock but runs so smooth and cool at 3.4 and can easily go over 4.0

Go for Quad core, I'd recommend a Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400, runs stock at 2.66GHz but you can easily get 4Ghz on it. It's cheap too. Or if you want Core2Duo, the E8400 comes stock at 3.Ghz, same price.

the specs on this card destroys alot of nvidia cards.

gtx 260 core 216 only has 216 core proccessors, this card has 850, and the CCC has free overclocking utilities, and allows you to control the fan speed.

plus GDDR5 quad pump.

the gtx 260 core 216 cost more then this,and this cost less and brings it to it's knees. i have to admit EVGA has great support, but why spend so much money on a nvidia card? if you can get a ATI card, which cost less, GDDR5(hd 4870+) mostly all the new ati cards have 1gb memory, and as of now, they just kicked nvidia in the nuts.nvidia needs to change their website, the gtx 285 is no longer the best single gpu

@Lionheart1188 i meant the gpu clock, the stock gpu clock is at 850mhz, i over clocked it to 925 mhz, and i over clocked the memory to a ghz also... very easily, stable at 48celcius and i put the fan speed at 55%(fucking ridiculous) this card is to good for its price
