This type of thing is very sad. I'm glad they're doing documentaries on these bullshit Russia/Ukraine dating scams. Creepy thing is I've met a girl from Ukraine who is an English teacher over here. She used some gai-jin (American) guy to get her and her son to the States by marrying him. Once here she divorced him then a few years later she met a lonely, ugly middle aged guy who had A LOT of money. Mysteriously he dies three years after marrying her. I suspect foul play was involved from her.

There was not enough evidence to suspect foul play but I find his death VERY suspicious and I find it odd that a man with a full military pension, a big life insurance policy(s) and a luxurious house dies after marrying a person like her. Then a few months after his passing she is acting like nothing happened and began flirting with me which I later found out was because I look like her son. Yeah, real sicko here.

Back in 2000 I was communicating directly with 2 different Russian women, in the Ukraine. I actually flew to Kiev and stayed a week with one woman's family. She was a bitch to her father, she obvously wanted the hell out of the Ukraine. But her family was really cool and sweet, her sister was really cool and knew her sister was screwed up. I never talked to her again after calling to say I made it back ok. Didn't like the gal. I've been married now 8 years, not to a Russian.

The difference is that both her and i are the same age, we meet in FInland and had fun and i saw how she took care of me, the way she acted with me and how we acted.
