the archos is heavy but has a lot of memory.the ipod is multi touch and has games and is lighter.i have both and i prefer my ipod touch over the archos but when i wana watch movies i use the archos. also the archos can play any format file and play any video u can posibly find on thei nternet when u buy the plugin

What he forgot to say is that the Archos will hardly play any of your video files at all . You will have to pay for extra codect ( and by the way , they are already in the device , you have to buy an unlocking key ) Don't be fooled people, Archos will try to squeeze every penny out of you , and their after sales service is the worst on the entire planet . ANd the amp in them is vastly under powered . I had to have my mp3 volume full up all the time
