  • I like this! The best part is the banjo player! He really plays that Reno stuff right!

  • Isaac and Jacob watching Grandpa Pete!

  • Good stuff! I also play a Kettler mandolin..W.Clark

  • Didn't know that webcams dated, but hey, anything goes in this brand new digital world...

How do you tell an adult webcam form a kid webcam?

  • Music is smooth running in this band. Good tecnics on the banjo. Tight!! Keep up the good work. More videos thnx :)

  • Its good and all but i'm not rlly into the whole country music vibe... yet its still good! :)

  • Well, I'd agree with you because I'm not into the "whole" vibe myself! I enjoy the older styles of country music and bluegrass. My approach is to take older, old time music, and set it into bluegrass styles. Sometime it doesn't work, sometimes it does. Check out my CD "Grey Cat On The Tennessee Farm" for an example.

  • Cool :)

  • That wouldn't happen to be a Gibson F9 mandolin would it? Just curious because that's what I've been playing for two years now and LOVE IT.

  • It's a copy of the Gibson F-5 style, developed by Lloyd Loar in the early 1920s. The maker in this case is Everett Kettler. He built several mandolins in the 1970s - 80s, but I do not believe he is still making them. That's too bad, because they are fine instruments. Mine is a blond finish with walnut perfling (instead of the usual celluloid / plastic type).

  • Definetly a fine looking instrument with an excellent sound. If it is a Loar I don't even want to ask what you paid for it.

  • Excellent!

  • We thank everyone for watching, and we'll hope to have more videos for you later this year. In the meantime, do stop by our website to check out articles, band info, photos, and music samples. Even better, stop by one of our public shows (check website for listings) and say Howdy!

    Best wishes,

    -Pete

  • Nice single string work by the banjo player!

  • Man, ya'll are really good!

  • Hey, glad you liked it! We'll try to post more as time allows.

    Best wishes,

    -Pete
