Hey first off nice job man, quick question how much can u do on smith machine decline bench compared to decline barbell press, because the gym i go to doesn't have a regular decline bench just a smith machine for decline bench and i am doing 3 45's on each side for sets of 8 and i was wondering how much i could be doing on regular decline bench. Also what gym is that it looks like a nice one.
my question is how do i get my left chest/pec to be more of the same size as my right. It seems noticeably smaller. What workout routine should i try? Should i use dumbbells or barbells or stationary machine weights? thanks.
Don't just work one side keep doing both. and only use dumbbells for a while. One side will always be stronger than the other. The smaller you are the more noticeable it is. Just keep on working out and hope it gets better.
I am a small guy. 5'6" 150lbs. Should i use more weight for my left dumbbell to make it bigger to even out with the right side? Or will using a barbell be just as good?
Have you looked at my new flat bench press videos yet? I've been working out for less then a year and my max as gone up 195LBS my 1rm as of today is 375LBS. When i started in late December 2006 my 1rm was only 180LBS. Weighing 196LBS and my bench going up 195LBS in ten months. That does not sound like a waste to me.

Using more weight on the left then the right is a big mistake. Keep using the dumbbells and keep the weight even.

Declines work lower chest while inclines work upper chest.

Thank you, I hate the Smith machine. This was only my third or fourth month of working out. I was still new to things my form is much better now.

smith machine is horrible, takes away stabilizer muscles and increases imbalances. and not just for bench press
