The babies adpoted by same sex couples are much less likely to ever be mistreated, because adoptive parents are carefully screened and qualified. That can hardly be said for MILLIONS of ill-prepared "straight" parents.
Being gay or straight is something nobody asked for. You are what you are and it doesn't change. To be a hate obsessed bigot, however, is a choice.

1 in 4 children are abused and/or neglected by their biological parents, almost all of them heterosexual.
The babies adopted by same sex couples are much less likely to ever be mistreated, because adoptive parents are carefully screened and qualified. That can hardly be said for MILLIONS of ill-prepared "straight" parents.

Of course he's angry, it was a poor decision to tape it, but his reaction was understandable! Imagine hearing, once again, that someone wants to deny you your rights simply because you differ from the majority in a way you have no control over, to an applauding audience... Carrie Prejean had every right to speak her mind. But whatever she may think, her loss at the pageant was justified, because miss USA shouldn't leave anyone feeling like Hilton did (and many more gay people, I imagine).

I am catholic, and half of my cousins are gay. And I adore them. The issue in discussion shouldn't be: if gays can marry or not. The issue being discuss in the news was the war. Why do we need to punish someone for having the liberty of talking. She didn't said anything offensive to gay men when she was ask the question. She gave an honest answer. On top of that humans are natural and a part of nature, therefore what we do with each other is technically natural. And yes, the LGBT community has gained a lot of rights in the last 20 years, but that's no reason to stop fighting for equal rights. I, like most people, was told someday I'd find true love and marry that person. So, he turned out to be the same gender. Why should I have to give up on the dream?

The great thing about EQUALITY is that there is no need for you (or anyone else) to approve of anything. You just accept it as you do the many other things that neither affect, nor should bother you.
