  • AWESOME

  • LOL @ 2:31. what the heck

  • that is trickery!!

  • He's got a TREE in his rack! That was crazy close.

  • Great video, nice bull too.I guide archery moose hunters & also bowhunt them when i draw a bull tag.I enjoy calling them in for other archers as much as i do for myself. Its the most exciting way to hunt, and calling them in as you did in this vid is a succesful day of hunting in my books, and to video it is just a bonus to top off the day.A successful hunt doesnt always include a kill, its the enjoyment u get from it that really counts.Awesome footage:) Your niebour from the ''CHOKE'' N.W.O. ROCKS!

  • I have a saying A real hunter is one who judges on what lives , As a bow hunter myself that was a valient effort of judging , when U have an ELK at 4 yrds different story . He was yours! Good calling...

  • 6183078 why dont you pay more attention to your lame ass gekos and do less bitching about videos that hurt your little bitch feelings

  • HOW CLOSE WAS THAT...???

    Nice BULL!!

    Cheers

    Bern

  • awesome video! I just got back from my moose hunt (no bull or cow tag). I did have a similar encounter with a cow moose although it was about 25 ft away. still amazing to see such a huge animal so close :)

  • your an idiot. it was the rut so his guards were down and he thought there was a hot cow in there. he ovbiously didnt have there wind and as soon as he did he fucked off. know what you talkin about be fore you start talkin shit

  • chamoishunter is retarded. hes 14 years old and is dying for his ball to drop , maybe when you get some balls you can go on a real hunt , not like hunting chamois the size of a dog from 300yrds away......whoa thats hard! maybe you should post some pics of the chamois you hunt...considering your not even legal age to hunt...maybe your boyfriend can take you out.

  • moose scare the crap out of me

  • nice vid

  • I really enjoyed your video, hunting is not all about killing. The challenges and fun of getting in close can be very rewarding. the killing is the easy part. good on you.

  • not all people have tags for bulls and cows,

  • Why didn't you shoot it? Or did you? Couldn't tell.

  • moose comes in, "tag your it! Never gonna catch me!" few mins later "ah you got me.."

  • where do you hunt in northern ontario?

  • North Western Ontario, I actually live in Fort Frances Ont.

    Cheers,

  • "Awesome job" calling and filming guys!!! I really enjoyed it! I have called in a few bulls, but not "that" close!

  • man killing animals is evil

  • Listen, you might think i am evil for eating meat, but sometime, look in the mirror, and examine those two fang looking teeth on each side of your mouth. Evolution tells me we got those NOT from eating veggies. I am not cruel, I am a hunter, gather, like the my fore fathers.

    Question, have you eating meat?

  • i love me some cow

  • I agree with you 100%

  • i dont eat meat am not gay why do you??

  • lol

  • @6183078 mmm a deer that i shot tastes so good but what makes it even better is that i know it makes you cry and that gives me satisfaction in knowing it hurts your feelings

  • @SkiDiveGuy evolution is fake...that blob had to come from something and there was never a blob god created us!

    but sweet moose man!

  • @soulknitters tell me where god explains dinosaurs... I thought the world was only 2,000 years old, well according to 'god'

  • @detdadet97 Lol god doesnt say 2000 years old, So get you FACTS STRAIGHT AND SHUT THE HECK UP! and two. the more you fight me shows how much ill prove. now if you also notice its 1 year old...so what the heck!

  • @soulknitters Lol jesusfreak, well explain how god made all of earth better than modern science explains the exact same thing, just not as bullshit sounding.

  • @detdadet97 My bracelet says jesus freak...So You failed. And modern science is made by Scientology! REAL scientists believe in god! and read genesis in the bible. That answers your questions. :)

  • @soulknitters Lol jesusfreak, modern science is built by science. not bullshit. And lol when u die ur gonna rot in the ground and be forgotten about forever not be lifted up into the sky by an invisible skydaddy, but its ok, I understand you'd rather keep yourself blindfolded so you dont have to deal with the fear of death. Btw science has nothing to do with religion u dumb nigger. Try talking to god, no answer? thought so,and if u say otherwise record it lol didnt think you could.

  • @detdadet97 Lol nigger means black...im white! and i have alked to god and he has answered by saving my sin. tell me bro, do you WANT to burn in hell? didnt think so and god and my relaives will remember me...so as god and jesus! PRAISE THE LORD!

  • @soulknitters nigger means nigger, black means black, and if an all loving god would so quickly damn someone to hell, then it really is a piece of shit. And I figured youd say he talked to you lol thats what all christians say, which is bullshit and you know it. If he talks to you prove it otherwise your full of shit. Like I said before, you're just bullshitting yourself, and obviously succeeded in brainwashing yourself, or perhaps that was the work of your christian upbringing.

  • @detdadet97 Lol how would you know im christian...i could be catholic or jewish for all you know. seriously whats up with your prejudice remark. Im not fighting back anymore. I just want to wait for you to know the truth. dont mind fighting back same answer will come

  • @soulknitters Catholic, Jewish, other bullshit all the same, other basics are islam, bhuddism, Hindu. But you are grouped in with same basic idea of god from the bible. So whatever religion you are you're just a minor branch of a main idea from the recent 2,000 year old religion. Although there have been countless other religions to rise up in the lifetime of human civilizations. Yours is just one fraction. And in time your religion along with all others will expire as others have.

  • @SkiDiveGuy i dont think nature intended us to hunt something that huge for meat

  • @SkiDiveGuy OK those "fangs" are called canine teeth, They are there to tear and grip flesh but just cause we have them doesnt mean we evovled to eat meat, for instances look at a hippo, wild boar, giant panda, red panda, many primates such as gorillas, lemurs are all predominantly herbivorous. Now Im not a vegetarian I love my meat but If your going to try argue with a vegetarian who hates every human who eats meat at least try to be correct and use the english language correctly.

  • @6183078 looking at your mom in the shower is evil

  • @6183078 for every animal you dont eat, im eating three ; )

  • wholy crap did it get close!! i'd have been shitting bricks!!

  • Yikes! THAT WAS AMAZING to hear the moose talking and breathing! All that power poised and ready! Whew! Well Done!...to be so close ...4metres!

May I ask why did you stand weaving side to side with your hands up?

Thank you for sharing your video!

Thank you to those of you who know about Moose calling the commentary was equally intriguing!

  • I use a visual cue also by swaying like they do. My hands are up to give the illusion that I have small paddle antlers. Sometimes it is the right thing to do. When a moose is as close as this one. You must do everything right or they can quickly exit the scene. This particular time I did everything just right. I am glad you enjoyed it.

  • thanks for your quick reply. : )

  • why didnt you shoot him?

  • We already had the moose we wanted. We were just doing it for excitement at this point.

  • loving the branch stuck on him, haha

  • Crisse tire le

  • poor elg

  • Man that buck huge, mais crisse qu'il était suicidaire lol :)

  • Awesome! he passed you up! He had ya if he wanted ya, that was neat. Thanks for sharing.

  • pfff did'nt shot notin noob

  • im no hunter, but i can get down with this video. i took real skill to lure that beast, so much so that the kill was irrelevant. also bow hunting at least puts the hunter in a primal state. i dont see how shooting animals with high powered rifles from blinds is gratifying at all

  • Why do you wish to be put into a primal state? Do you have any intelligence?

  • very cooooooool!!!!!!!

  • ty pierdo morderco

  • lol... if i was there i would have shit my self nice moose calls.

  • Gotta time out your calls kid

  • ......................

  • great stuff skidiveguy you really had em worked up

  • experienced hunters have been sharing me that if you "call" in to deep they will be frightened as this signals for bigger moose. So keeping a higher pitch is reccommended.

  • Thundertrent...bingo you nailed it...bigger bulls have a deeper note....common sense tells you a bull will be more likely to try to run off a smaller bull...cheers..pop by check out my stalk in on a bedded bull ..thats fun hunting too :)

  • that is a small moose

  • Good job but try callin a little less next time it does work better even though u got a nice animal here u were lucky

  • langdon..while your onto something with the less is more comment...whatever got the bull worked up in the first place is sometimes i find good to continue...once the bull starts grunting continuosly your doing something right so you have to keep him "rut blind"..if you ever just listen to the cows when they get going it can be almost non stop when the animals are really worked up...hes also not doing a "blare" just the in close moan

  • I totally agree with you jsmallwood2007!

  • sorry langdon19, but at times calling constantly is what it takes.

  • agreed ...you know what made him mad/horny..theres different reasons for coming...no pun intended lol...

ps...am i the only one heard how vocal and agressive you had that bull lol

    5/5 again...

    To the watchers....

learn something from this people, watch the call change to suit the situation(answering bull ,come get her from me at

0:45 )it's hardcore ,been there ,done that before, experienced , feal it out calling.

  • jsmallwood2007,

Too bad we lived so far apart, I am sure we could have a great day in the field, enjoying what we do.

    Cheers dude,

  • WOW.....Great calling a real beauty of a Moose. Why no shot?

  • we already had the moose we were looking for. Glad you enjoyed it.

  • @88reltih88 Here in N. W. ONT. the tags for adult moose r on a draw system & if you dont draw a bull or cow tag, your left with a calf tag that can be used during the archery or gun season. The bull or cow tags are not available to hunters every year,so there are seasons that a hunter doesnt receive an adult tag. When applying you have to check off what season you wish to hunt gun or bow & what unit and sex you want to hunt.Bow season is 3wks,gun season is about 12.5 wks,he probly had no bull tag.

  • what a beautiful beast

  • oh ive already seen this one

  • awesome video nice bull i was just waiting to see that arrow slide behind his shoulder .

  • Awesome vid. Did you only have calf tag because he looked like decent bull?

  • nice video where did this take place?

  • North Western Ontario

  • nice shot

  • Its not a bad moose but there are a whole lot bigger ones. That would be my guess as to the no shot. Ive guided moose hunts and gotten moose in very close. I have had comparable bulls in at that yardage, but your just askin for trouble. I do find it fun to see how close you can get them, but with something that large you are askin for it. cool video.

  • dude how is he asking for trouble he is a expert guide i know the guy and he is way better than you prolly are at what he does

  • I usually have an escape route preplanned just like I did with this moose. This moose was also not agressive, he wasjust looking for love.

  • shot was available big moose ......wth

  • well few years ago i feed a female moose and cav

so i got the most closest, other thing. thats one really big moose

  • I've been that close to a cow, but not a bull, let alone a bull that size...Wow!

  • but ya that was pretty huge

  • you had a pretty danm good shot at 1:55 he was broadside and mabe 10 yrds

  • No shot??... what gives???

  • MAN THAT WAS HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Great calling! Man, I'd never let a rutting bull get that close...I'd crap in my pants. I took one two years ago with the rifle...I use a large juice can for calling. It has a shoe lace knotted, and fed through a small hole in the end of the can. You make the lace wet(it has to be a flat one, not round), pinch it tightly and pull your hand down the length of the lace. It takes practice, but is a very effective and cheap moose-call. It's worked for me two years in a row.

  • great footage

  • That was great man! I leave friday morning for my northern Ontario Moose season. This year we were lucky enough to get a cow tag! So it should be great.

  • Yes,

We are having fun digging deep into the language of the N.W.Ont moose. I just got back from a great week once again. I just have to find some time to edit.

    Jeff

  • Way to do it man! That was a fantastic encounter, and an awesome vid. Gr8 job, nice work!

  • man you got it going on...way to go man

  • were you looking for a bigger one??? Nice looking bull...cheers

  • Beautiful animal.
