I saw one of the real Delta Blues singers, Honeyboy Edwards, in Norway live and kicking in 2007. Just awesome. If you want to see the last remains of the true pioneers, check out if he is performing somewhere near you and go there! He doesn't have the intensity and quality of Sleepy John Estes' voice but still a good performer, born in 1915! He was a friend of the legendary Robert Johnson, and was present in the bar where he was poisoned to death.
