@Chillagher bro guantanamo bay is brutal, i read a book called American Torture back in like 2007-08.. brutal book.. torture is one of the most brutal things to know that it exists
This is where this dudez write about a lot. I credit my sobriety to the lessons learned online. Prior to my experience in AA my life was a continuous upward spiral of self-satisfaction. The doctors to whom I had gone for help invariably looked to the “historical solution” — delving into my childhood. Not one of them ever simply suggested that I quit drinking. So I continued drinking and continued going to my analysts and my life continued spiraling into a cloud nebula like a fucking bird.

>This all sounds really scary.
>Like one of my really bad nightmares.
>My mom is (was - retired) a psych. nurse and I used to be
>terrified that she would lock me away and give me electro-shock
>treatments. And I figured all her co-workers would believe her and
>not me - that I had a special kind of mental illness that left me
>totally sane - except that I *thought* I remembered sexual abuse.
The disbelief is hard to deal with :(
