It may not be good for them to point them forward because it would be putting their appendages in an 'unnatural' position for them. Some people just weren't 'meant' to be runners. Not to say they shouldn't, it's just that they don't have the ideal body design for the sport. But I encourage everyone to run if they can.
i find that sometimes my form suffers when i release a powerful gas (flatulence). it pushes my hips forward and me into the air several metres - i live in wales. any advice on how to compensate for this or possibly incorporate this into my running technique?

Wow thank you so much.. I have been working on improving my speed, and this seems to help a lot. With everything i'm using, I seem to be getting faster by the day. As always, I believe that in my sport, football, speed and strength is the best combination you can get. Thank you for posting this video, it helps a lot...
