a tip to keep your sheilds up when you drop from a medium distance is to crouch as you land

I think it's more likely you survived by hitting a bump in the terrain - in this vid you land slightly before punching.

Crouching when landing works much better to stop fall damage, but it won't save you from a fall like that.

I tried getting that achievement to assassinate the elite from a high fall

And a few times that I missed the elite, I somehow survived the fall, but I didn't survive the melee kick I got thrown at me

or you just hit the yellow man cannon before you hit the ground from the top of the spire it works everywhere i do it on invasion to get down with the core

@TheWaffle71 im not 100% but my friend and i tried it a couple times and we were able to do it in multiple maps, the only problem is that this is extremely difficult to pull off and i have died multiple times attempting to do it.
