  • I love this layout and the multilevel railroads. i am just getting started, and i was looking for some inspiration. i wanna do a 4x8 x 4x8 in an L-Shape... do you think it'd be difficult to replicate something similar with HO scale?

  • This is inspiring and terrific! Kudos!!

@JADNCKM: Where did you buy this layout?

  • Am I the only one who is seriously thinking on making one of these tracks because of the lack of a space when building a HO track?

  • how did they do a reolistic welding thing? that sounds awesome

  • Without a doubt this is the best n scale layout I have seen. The detail is beautiful.

  • Can you give me your ite with pictures? Do you know if kato trains can run on it? What kinf of traks did you use?

    Mick

  • even though the camera is not close, i can still see the intense detail. what a nice set you have!!!

  • that is nice looking you got alot of stuff in there it just alittle too small of a gauge for me im pretty set on o gauge and like std gauge as well but i was thinking of when i do build a layout in the other bigger house i thought about getting a N or Z or even a T gauge train set and some how add it to look like a mini set around a christmas tree in the layout i guess with some of the real small gauge sets it could be done? with a small loop of round track

  • this is the smaller tiny ones nice we have a lionel store here and they are so high for the metal trains kits

  • Love it!

  • very nice i'm impressed

  • So much action in such a little place, its hard from the video and pius to where each train is going. Awesome Job

  • how much did this cost you since me and my dad found a model train store and i love trains so much and we whant to get into the hobby

  • I love this layout and tried to build it. I wish Noch would offer a prefab for Kato Track.

  • The engines are doing about 70 MPH. Is this normal for going through town, lol?

  • wow

  • this the coolest layout ever great job can't wait to start my layout keep up the good work

  • whre do you get the track

  • Good video!!! :o)

  • I'd love to see the actual track layout too - it's hard to see from the video. Do you have a website with the layout and maybe some stills? This is amazing.

  • @maryruthm - - I bought a Noch layout that has preformed mountains that have some of the grass, but you need to paint and detail the entire rest of the layout. I have a website with still pictures listed in my profile. Let me know if I can answer any other questions! Jim

  • Great inspiration for how to fill the empty spots in my layout- thanks!!

  • That's the beauty of N scale. You can do so much with little space. Nice work.

  • This is a DCC layout - using Digitrax Super Chief 8 amp set and the DS64 Quad Stationary Decoder for the switches.

  • beatiful layout.

i cant wait to start working on mine.

  • is this a dcc layout or do all the tracks have a power pack

  • @JADNCKM - do you have a website where you show the actual trackage for this layout? And one with some still photos too?

  • nice layout. im just starting to get into n scale and i want to make a layout and i need to now what would be the best brand of trains to go with i like bachmann track but i hate the trains. and if you can give me any othere tips it would be appreciated. thanks

  • I agree about Bachman trains ... I have had great experience with Kato trains. I also prefer the Micro-Trains couplers. The trees seemed to be the hardest to find, but if you find the right ones they really make the layout! Hope that helps a little! Jim

  • @JADNCKM Agree Kato is superior but bachmann aint too bad

  • @JADNCKM its got to be graham farish for the best brand

  • @boxcarsrule if it has BACHMANN on it STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!! ,,,kato trains and unitrack,,l less derailments means more fun!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Jim, you are amazing. I cant even get this detailed for HO

  • All the trains running at once is a visual feast! I think you did a great job. What size is the layout overall?

  • Thanks, it is a lot of fun to keep adding here and there. It is about 6 feet by 3 1/2 feet.

  • Nice layout, The only problem I see right off hand is that the trains are going SUPER fast. Not a scale speed, but whoreally cares?

  • Very nice! And you've provided me with plenty of inspiration for my own model railroad project. Thank you.

  • Great Job! The details are great from the people mooning the trains to the camp fire that really works. Very Cool!
