Yeah, it's not a very complex song, you're right about that, but it sounds good, which is what really matters. What matters is what it makes you feel like, not the complexity. For example, the songs If I Was Your Vampire and Hey You are pretty simple, and they sound quite chilling. Well, I'm pretty sure Hey You has distortion or something on it, so that adds to it, but the other song does not.
