  • Fast isn't always bad, but this is too fast for my taste. The guy at the beginning spoke for too long, it takes 1/3 of the wohle video. The altos and tenors were too bright, the bass could only be heard on some parts, and the whole choir moved too much. It was good but I'm sorry, but I've seen high school choirs do this better.

  • @chitoman84 no seas tan creído, que sabes tu nada de nada!!!!!

  • This version gives me a boner. Fantastic!

  • it sounded nice. fast yes. but right notes. the alleluia was a bit weird in the beginning. kept hearing "allelu... allelui.." the end was cut off but i guess it was for effects.

  • Umm the clapping was the audience failing to realize the song wasn't over... But yeah, they're butchering the song, it's way too fast.

  • terrible sound quality.

  • they move sooo much!!!

  • beautiful. :T

  • Is this afast forward version??? They sounded nice but way too fast and too loud.

  • @Andrewstory79 Too fast ? No... just listen to Savall's version.

  • Thiw whole affair ahs NOTHING to do with revernce. It had to do with "entertainment" AND they need to practice their latin, while they are racing around the chapel.

  • Okay, I had no idea what the hell you are talking about.

I don't know about you, but normally, you're not supposed to clap RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PIECE. But hey, what the hell do I know?

  • I loled when they clapped in the middle

  • LOL.

  • lol srsly wow clap fest?

  • 3:21 - 3:38 is lovely =)

  • this song is so pretty

  • tempo is to fast paced and its nto soft enough... its nto supposed to be s full powerful... this is a delicate song, that crescendos into the powerful parts...

  • Gosh, they went so fast. My chamber choir goes slower like the original. They were excellent though.

  • Wow, they really did rush this ... that's just not right. 1.5 time speed or somethin, slow down, enjoy the song. It doesn't do it justice when done this quickly

  • Wow way to fast....sopranos too LOUD(as always)

  • why in such a rush?

  • A lack of respect & reverence for God's word and this hymn to our Lord and the Holy Trinity!

  • Some had to had been playing Cribbag.

  • Whats your problem

  • The question is, pupkin, what it your problem. Tnisis not the hit parade or some queer like Jackson.

  • What are you talking about? In case you didn't know, the Catholics came about 1500 years before your religion and they also gave you your Bible. No need to dis.

However, the clapping is ridiculous. Not one second of silence to enjoy the music or ponder on the text. Not to mention they clap right in the middle of the thing. >:(

  • Hey, Rumpelstiltskin, you lost me funble-butt. Just what the hell are your talking about? I suggest that you wake-up and breath in a colade, mr. half-mast. I am not reffering ot a CIRCUS, cupcake.

  • GEEZE.. cut out the 1st 2 minutes of talking? lol.. mannnnn.

Wasn't even the version I wanted.... shame.

  • Did you want the David Childs arrangement? I actually like it better. We're singing it now. There's only one video on here of it and it's only a bit of it.

  • We're singing this in Chamber Choir right now!! i like this song..

  • Who else thinks the clappers in the middle wanted the song to be over then? X3;;

Commenting on the clappers, not the song itself.

  • my chamber singers are practicing this song too. but... i really dislike how fast this tempo is compared to the way we sing it. it sounds like a dying, miserable peice.. so when you sing it quickly it's a little much.

  • the clappers have apparently never heard this song before...

  • one nano second of silence and people start clapping, it never fails!

  • LOL! I laughed too.

  • muy cierto jajajaja

    That's right! Ha, ha, ha.

  • this choir is so bright I was waiting for the paint to start peeling off the walls...

  • hehe my choir sung that song for our christmas concert I was a bass =]>

  • Song, Song? It is not a song.

  • Wow! My choir is doing this one, a little bit slower than this but I really like the tenors in this video. Well done!

  • Hola yo soy mexicano but vivo en florida but my chamber chorus sang this last year and we went to states. You guys sound great

  • what do you hablas? es that un lenguage?, well, eso could ser spanglish isn't it? corrígeme if I'm equivocado please

  • The singing begins 2:20 into the video, in case you do not understand what the speaker is saying. Nice performance. The accoustics are a bit bright. Glad it is acapella. Organ or instruments would have made the sound too busy.
