Christ did not "fulfill" the Sabbath, it is a sacred institution that could not be done away with the other ceremonial laws of the Jews first of all because it was a commandment given to Adam and Eve since creation, meaning it is universal.
Ezekiel 20;12 says the Sabbath is a sign for God's people and Isaiah 66:22-23 talks about the continuance of the Sabbath even in eternity after Jesus returns and takes us with Him. Jesus himself kept the sabbath and so did his disciples. Read Matt 5:17
If there is a silence of the mentioning of the Sabbath in the New Testament, this only confirms that the Sabbath is still valid. Why reaffirm a law that is a customary practice? the other laws are mentioned because, many temptations could lead to the breaking of them.

Sabbatarians fail to see that the Law and the Prophets AS A UNIT pointed to Christ (it did not cease until all was fulfilled by Him- Matt.5:17ff). @1nemind actually i do. i'm jewish. i'm a student of torah, and i read hebrew. there is a huge point in all of messiah's teaching that the eurpoean churches missed ( i dont' use gentiles since it doesn't actually exisist in the hebrew) the word torah comes from root yara which means fruit. torah is the result of faith in god. we don't keep the commandments to save us, we keep them BECAUSE we are saved. christins live in sin continuely. i can not wrap my mind around this. it makes no sense to me.

First off, the civil law can't even be kept anymore (along with a lot of the ceremonial laws) since there are no Levites (so there can't be tithes given for example along with a lot of other commandments). The ceremonial law (Day of Atonement, Levitical priesthood, etc, etc) is fulfilled in Christ. Christ did NOT abolish the Law, as He said Himself, He fulfilled it!

Yes, Torah does mean instruction/guidance/teaching/statute but that doesn't negate the fact that it (the word Torah) is also used in regards to when one references the first 5 Books of the Tanakh.

Yes the temple sacrifices will be re-established as we can see in Zechariah 14 for example. What kind of sacrifices will they be? Thanksgiving offerings, definitely not sin offerings of any sort, and I don't see any problem at all with this. In fact, there are even rabbinic traditions that state that in the age to come the only types of sacrifices that will be offered are thanksgiving offerings as there will no longer be sin.

interesting ... what I would say is that we are not under the law but under grace, theres one God and one faith and one Spirit, why hold the law up to any man, the Spirit of God teaches the sincere heart anyway. If a man dont keep the sabbath, is he keeping any commandments at all, if he is then he should find it difficult to recall his last prayer wherein he ask for forgivness. Christ has establish the law in us, so not good to hold up any, we pray for sins daily as we are under grace not laws.

Jeremiah 31:31-32 says that God will make a new covenant where he would write his Law in the inward parts, on the HEART..Not according to the Law that was written in STONE, which they BRAKE. If they BRAKE that which was written in STONE, Does it mean the Law written in the HEART they will NOT BRAKE? This is a question every christian should ask him or herself.

The Sabbath was not made for the Children of Israel, it was started at creation. You conveniently missed Gen 2. It was before sin came into the world and it is binding for all not just Jews.

Circumcision was also established before the Law of Moses. Now according to you, does that mean that we should also be circumcised in the New Covenant? Of course not. There is no command in the New Covenant that we must be circumcised, just like there is no command in the New Covenant that we must keep the Sabbath.
@1nemind, If you love me keep My commandments. And, I come not to destroy the law but to fulfill it. The word fulfill used here does not mean to end. It means to make full or cause to abound. Also the law existed before Abraham. Gen 26:5, Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.
Indeed if we love Him, we will keep His commandments (1 John 3:23-24, John 15:9-14, John 13:34-35, 2 John 1:5-6, etc.) Please check these verses to see what His commandments are.
Regarding the "law" existing in Gen 26:5, are you saying the Law of Moses existed in Gen 26:5? Or are you saying Abraham had instructions/guidance (a law) from God, as we do in the New Covenant apart from the Law of Moses?

People, read Mt 5:17-20 this ought be enough for anyone. Also "the Sabbath was made for Man" MK 2:27. Acts 15:20 in the letter to the Gentiles does not end there. Read further, verse 21 "For Moses (the Law) of old time hath in every city them that preach him, Being read in the synagogues every sabbath day" meaning they wanted the gentiles to stop the fornication, and from drinking of blood now, and not push the law to hard. That because they keep the sabbath they will learn slowly from the Torah
Yes, and physical circumcision is also a "covenant forever," but we know that Paul did not teach that old covenant requirement. You are right: the sabbath and holy days are a shadow, negatively contrasted by Paul with the reality who is Jesus (Col 2:16, 17).
Thus the groups which promote the weekly sabbath are actually regressing, back into the old covenant and away from Christ who has come. It is as you say false that Sunday worship began with Constantine.
One of the signs we are Christian is to keep the Lords Day to keep it holy. Not the old Jewish Sabbath but the new Sabbath. Christ rose from the death on the First Day of the week and the Lords Day now begins at Dawn not Dusk. Mark 16:1-2 & 9.
We are also to worship on that same day as it says in Acts 20:7 where we see Paul preached until midnight. So we are to observe the Sabbath until midnight not just from dawn till dusk.
If we love the Lord we will keep his commandments, not do our will.
Chirst said He will be at the grave 3 days and 3 night, if he died on friday 3pm and buried before Sabbath then He is 1 night at the grave then at Saturday 1 day and 2nd night, then on Sunday early morning all believed he rose from t he grave so he have only 2 days & 2 nights.
Christ died at Wednesday 3 pm at at dawn buried to the grave so 1 night at Saturday afternoon which is the approaching of the 1st day Christ rose from the grave.

Do you differentiate between the law of Moses and the law of God? Do you consider them one and the same?
No one keeping the Sabbath believes they are only to worship God on the Sabbath. Worshipping is not restricted to one day, but rest is set aside as different.
The reference of resting in Christ has to do with his yoke, which is easy to bear. It does not reverence the Sabbath.
The TRUE Messiah guarded all His Father's commands (John 15:10) including the 7th day Sabbath (Luke 4:16). As did His TRUE followers (Luke 23:56; Acts 13:42,44; Acts 18:4; Acts 24:14).
IF we want to follow the TRUE Messiah we will walk as He walked (1 John 2:3-7).

People who cling to the Sabbath do not understand the cross. The Sabbath was NOT before sin. Only God rested on the first 7th day, the word Sabbath is not mentioned until Exodus when God gives "his" sabbath to Israel. Meditate on the words of Genesis 2:2. And on the 7th day God ended HIS work which HE had done and HE rested on the 7th day from all HIS work which HE had done. Then God bless the 7th day because in it HE rested from all HIS work which GOD had made.
Well, the Pharisees complained about Jesus doing work on the Sabbath, but he reminded them that they worked on the Sabbath, too: they took their animals to get food and water on the Sabbath.

@ 1mind look at colossians 2:14-16 then compare Ezekiel 45:17 and deuteronomy 31:26. it clearly shows the ceremonial laws were contrary to us. that being said the statutes, precepts and judgments still apply. ex. i would like u to read isaiah 53:2-7 as well. i'm not saying keeping the commandments saves you cause christ saves you. i believe that christ gives us power to be obedient. Philippians 4:13I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. also Isaiah 58:13 says the sabbath is to be called a delight, honourable and His holy day.
i will agree we rest in christ but the sabbath was sanctified before sin was in the world. so how can it be a shadow if it was before sin? also u say it was only given to israel not gentiles but doesn't Romans 10:12 say there is no difference between jew and gentile in christ and Romans 11:17 say gentiles are grafted in the olive tree.
It was sanctified but it was not given as a command until the time of Moses.
Regarding Romans 10 & 11, I believe I already addressed, in the video, what the New Testament says about keeping the Sabbath. If the Scriptures you brought up means that we have to keep the Sabbath, then they would also mean that we have to keep all 613 laws given throughout the Torah, which were given so Israel could be a separate people. According to 1John 3:4-10 sin is lawlessness. Those who break the law are criminals, and deserve punishment. So those who break the Law of the Kingdom of Heaven are going to be cast out (sent into exile) and punished. I would suggest downloading the free Hebrew and Greek Interlinear Bible program via scripture4all . org and search, first day of the week. Look at 1Cor. 16:2 in the Greek and tell me why did the first century church keep the Sabbaths? How could they be under grace if keeping them?

Jesus commandment is love for our neighbour and love for him, the old Testator is the 10 commandments in the old testament. The new Testator is Christ. Love is not represented in Christ in the old testament commandment. why? Christ did not "fulfill" the Sabbath, it is a sacred institution that could not be done away with the other ceremonial laws of the Jews first of all because it was a commandment given to Adam and Eve since creation, meaning it is universal.
Ezekiel 20;12 says the Sabbath is a sign for God's people and Isaiah 66:22-23 talks about the continuance of the Sabbath even in eternity after Jesus returns and takes us with Him. Jesus himself kept the sabbath and so did his disciples. Read Matt 5:17

If there is a silence of the mentioning of the Sabbath in the New Testament, this only confirms that the Sabbath is still valid. Why reaffirm a law that is a customary practice? the other laws are mentioned because, many temptations could lead to the breaking of them.

You posted Genesis 2 that shows God blessing the sabbath. And you also mentioned the Christ is LORD of the SABBATH (which He is)
Based on those 2 scriptures, how can you say the sabbath is no longer in effect?
In other words, did God sanctify Sunday? And did Christ call Himself LORD of Sunday? If we are honest, the answer to both is NO.

Now, if I go out or if another goes out and has sex with a woman that person has broken God's law. If they dont repent they could be thrown into the lake of fire. Sabbatarians fail to see that the Law and the Prophets AS A UNIT pointed to Christ (it did not cease until all was fulfilled by Him- Matt.5:17ff). Thereafter, all law is subsumed and transcended by Christ's higher 'law' (mediated by His Spirit). At best the Decalogue remains as a pedagogue only. The Sabbath (Rest) pointed back to deliverance from Egypt, rest in God (His Rest begun at Creation) and forward to deliverance in Christ, our Spiritual Rest (Matt.11:28) Look to Christ not Law!

Like I said over and over again in this video, there is nothing wrong if one wants to keep the Sabbath. I think you completely missed the point of the video. Secondly, Christ commanded that we deny ourselves & carry our cross "daily", if we want to follow Him (not just 1 day), and that HE is our Rest.
As for tithing goes, almost every church doesn't seem to understand what a "tithe" is according to the Old Covenant. So, I agree with you on that point.

@1nemind actually i do. i'm jewish. i'm a student of torah, and i read hebrew. there is a huge point in all of messiah's teaching that the eurpoean churches missed ( i dont' use gentiles since it doesn't actually exisist in the hebrew) the word torah comes from root yara which means fruit. torah is the result of faith in god. we don't keep the commandments to save us, we keep them BECAUSE we are saved. christins live in sin continuely. i can not wrap my mind around this. it makes no sense to me.

First off, the civil law can't even be kept anymore (along with a lot of the ceremonial laws) since there are no Levites (so there can't be tithes given for example along with a lot of other commandments). The ceremonial law (Day of Atonement, Levitical priesthood, etc, etc) is fulfilled in Christ. Christ did NOT abolish the Law, as He said Himself, He fulfilled it!

Yes, Torah does mean instruction/guidance/teaching/statute but that doesn't negate the fact that it (the word Torah) is also used in regards to when one references the first 5 Books of the Tanakh.
Also, as I was saying earlier, almost all of the Old Covenant Law (which we read in the "Torah") cannot be kept today, which I explained earlier. Telling me that you keep the entire "Torah" or all the commandments is impossible as I showed in my earlier comment.

Yes the temple sacrifices will be re-established as we can see in Zechariah 14 for example. What kind of sacrifices will they be? Thanksgiving offerings, definitely not sin offerings of any sort, and I don't see any problem at all with this. In fact, there are even rabbinic traditions that state that in the age to come the only types of sacrifices that will be offered are thanksgiving offerings as there will no longer be sin.

If people would allow the Holy Spirit to show them in His Word they would get Paul's message given to him by Jesus Christ and not by man. Jesus Christ fulfilled the law. If we love as Jesus does then we won't break the law. Love God with all your heart and soul and love man as you love yourself. This is the NT and not the OT. From Abraham to John is OT/Covenant and Act's 9 with Paul through Titus is the NT/Covenant. OT teachings were for Jews only. Jesus is our rest now not Saturday.

interesting ... what I would say is that we are not under the law but under grace, theres one God and one faith and one Spirit, why hold the law up to any man, the Spirit of God teaches the sincere heart anyway. If a man dont keep the sabbath, is he keeping any commandments at all, if he is then he should find it difficult to recall his last prayer wherein he ask for forgivness. Christ has establish the law in us, so not good to hold up any, we pray for sins daily as we are under grace not laws.

When you are ready to be a more of a saint than just a forgiven sinner then this is a concept that is very important. Keeping the sabbath is part of the Law. Read Matthew 5:17-20 to see the stern warning of Yeshua ha'Mashiach concerning 'replacement theology'.

Jeremiah 31:31-32 says that God will make a new covenant where he would write his Law in the inward parts, on the HEART..Not according to the Law that was written in STONE, which they BRAKE. If they BRAKE that which was written in STONE, Does it mean the Law written in the HEART they will NOT BRAKE? This is a question every christian should ask him or herself.

Being a former "Sabbath keeper" myself but now I know the truth from God's word that it is not for Christians, I so much appreciate your video directing others to the fact the the Sabbath was for the Isrealites, not for Christians. I have prayed and studied on this one for the past couple of years and it is so very clear to me what God's word teaches. It took a long time for me to see it all but the more I studied the more the Lord revealed to me the truth.

The Sabbath was not made for the Children of Israel, it was started at creation. You conveniently missed Gen 2. It was before sin came into the world and it is binding for all not just Jews.

And whether the Sabbath came before sin came into the world, that's irrelevent because, again, it was never a command until the Law. There is no command in the New Covenant that we must be circumcised, just like there is no command in the New Covenant that we must keep the Sabbath.

Indeed if we love Him, we will keep His commandments (1 John 3:23-24, John 15:9-14, John 13:34-35, 2 John 1:5-6, etc.) Please check these verses to see what His commandments are.
Regarding the "law" existing in Gen 26:5, are you saying the Law of Moses existed in Gen 26:5? Or are you saying Abraham had instructions/guidance (a law) from God, as we do in the New Covenant apart from the Law of Moses?

thank you so much for helping to clarify this. so much confusion on this issue. there is a tv show on now, chariots of fire, about a british runner who refused to run on Sunday. and I went to blble studies, church on sunday, and catechism, they never mentioned this. So going to church on Sunday is NOT keeping the sabbath for children of Israel, so as a gentile I don't have to, just as I had suspected,I will continue to do this, but at least now I know the proper way to view it.

People, read Mt 5:17-20 this ought be enough for anyone. Also "the Sabbath was made for Man" MK 2:27. Acts 15:20 in the letter to the Gentiles does not end there. Read further, verse 21 "For Moses (the Law) of old time hath in every city them that preach him, Being read in the synagogues every sabbath day" meaning they wanted the gentiles to stop the fornication, and from drinking of blood now, and not push the law to hard. That because they keep the sabbath they will learn slowly from the Torah

Yes, and physical circumcision is also a "covenant forever," but we know that Paul did not teach that old covenant requirement. You are right: the sabbath and holy days are a shadow, negatively contrasted by Paul with the reality who is Jesus (Col 2:16, 17).
Thus the groups which promote the weekly sabbath are actually regressing, back into the old covenant and away from Christ who has come. It is as you say false that Sunday worship began with Constantine.

One of the signs we are Christian is to keep the Lords Day to keep it holy. Not the old Jewish Sabbath but the new Sabbath. Christ rose from the death on the First Day of the week and the Lords Day now begins at Dawn not Dusk. Mark 16:1-2 & 9.
We are also to worship on that same day as it says in Acts 20:7 where we see Paul preached until midnight. So we are to observe the Sabbath until midnight not just from dawn till dusk.
If we love the Lord we will keep his commandments, not do our will.

You failed my test by quoting the verse in Col 2:16, 17 saying the Sabbath was a shadow of things to come. The Sabbath isn't a shadow of anything... it's a sanctified day of the Lord. The sabbath days mentioned were of ceremonial events (rituals, days, and rites pertaining to the promised messiah) not the Moral Law. Isaiah 66:22, 23 says the Sabbath WILL continue throughout eternity for all flesh (humans). All the apostles worshiped on the Sabbath day, Paul did with Gentiles. Acts 13:42-44

No one keeping the Sabbath believes they are only to worship God on the Sabbath. Worshipping is not restricted to one day, but rest is set aside as different.
The reference of resting in Christ has to do with his yoke, which is easy to bear. It does not reverence the Sabbath.

The TRUE Messiah guarded all His Father's commands (John 15:10) including the 7th day Sabbath (Luke 4:16). As did His TRUE followers (Luke 23:56; Acts 13:42,44; Acts 18:4; Acts 24:14).
IF we want to follow the TRUE Messiah we will walk as He walked (1 John 2:3-7).

People who cling to the Sabbath do not understand the cross. The Sabbath was NOT before sin. Only God rested on the first 7th day, the word Sabbath is not mentioned until Exodus when God gives "his" sabbath to Israel. Meditate on the words of Genesis 2:2. And on the 7th day God ended HIS work which HE had done and HE rested on the 7th day from all HIS work which HE had done. Then God bless the 7th day because in it HE rested from all HIS work which GOD had made.

Well, the Pharisees complained about Jesus doing work on the Sabbath, but he reminded them that they worked on the Sabbath, too: they took their animals to get food and water on the Sabbath.
If Jesus doesn't mind people working on the Sabbath, then we can work. Just remember to take time for Jesus.

@ 1mind look at colossians 2:14-16 then compare Ezekiel 45:17 and deuteronomy 31:26. it clearly shows the ceremonial laws were contrary to us. that being said the statutes, precepts and judgments still apply. ex. Leviticus 19:13"Never oppress or rob your neighbor. Never keep the pay you owe a hired worker overnight. found in james 5:4. i can't see why if u say u love God u wouldn't keep his 4th commandment.

i will agree we rest in christ but the sabbath was sanctified before sin was in the world. so how can it be a shadow if it was before sin? also u say it was only given to israel not gentiles but doesn't Romans 10:12 say there is no difference between jew and gentile in christ and Romans 11:17 say gentiles are grafted in the olive tree.

It was sanctified but it was not given as a command until the time of Moses.
Regarding Romans 10 & 11, I believe I already addressed, in the video, what the New Testament says about keeping the Sabbath. If the Scriptures you brought up means that we have to keep the Sabbath, then they would also mean that we have to keep all 613 laws given throughout the Torah, which were given so Israel could be a separate people. I'll probably make a video on "if we have to keep the Law".

@Texasmissionary~ Actually you need the Holy Spirit, my friend, for you are still under the law. You can not have faith in Christ by not realizing that He is God in the flesh & brought a New Covenant for His bride. We're not judged by the mitzvot given to the children of Israel, but the commandments given by Yeshua. His Apostles warn over and over again about Judaizers just as the Prophets of Old warned about people not obeying God. Obey God=Obey Christ. His blood sealed the Sabbath rest in Him.

@Texas~ True Sabbath is not in a day it is in Christ Today, Everyday. "I will give you rest."-Christ (Mat11:28) Many "entered Not in because of unbelief " Heb 4:6. "for he who comes to God must believe that He is" Heb 11:6 "For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his" Heb 4:10 "For we which have believed do enter into rest" Heb 4:4.Those who have Faith in Christ have His (God's) rest.

1nemind, I love your videos and I love how all of them are supported by the Word of God, the Bible, the one truth that has remained and will remain forever! It's what makes your statements legit.
I agree with what you say in this video but I'm also going to have to agree with josie8869's video response. Keeping the Sunday as the sabbath and as you said, a celebration of Jesus' resurrection is something that should always be kept Holy...along with the other days you try to keep Holy.

Jesus said that"Pray your flight will not be on winter or sabbath".
So Jesus is saying that there is still a Sabbath in the future.
Christ did not destroy the Law,Christ said that"Do not think that I came to destoy the Law. . .
...Sabbath is on the Ten Commandments and it will not be destroyed.
