any song is appropriate for a woman to sing. a song is a song and you should sing whatever youre attracted to. I hear that the mic is a bit too close to the guitar. step back and perhaps tilt it more towards your voice. on the chorus "a girl thatll stay.." at *girl* sounds like should have a lower chord. also, pick up the tempo a notch. you have a great voice. dont mean to sound critical but if there wasnt potential, I wouldnt comment :-)
