Will Sessions did an AMAZING job recreating these beats, especially this one. in the beginning, it sounds like a very old recording of the instrumental to One Love by Nas, by the simulated record player noises, and the resonance of the instruments to make it sound like it's an old song (which it is). then the bass drum drops in along with Elzhi's verse, and you forget that the basic music in the back still sounds like that. The whole thing plays along perfectly.

However Elzhi did a good job at remaking Illmatic, yes Illmatic is better than Elmatic, but you're acting like Wiz Khalifa redid Illmatic. Elzhi is a great MC and Elmatic is a great album, it's not Illmatic nor will it ever be but it's a refreshing take on Illmatic.
