I have only seen it twice, but it never gets old. It inspired me to travel a little. It has Takeshi's old jokes and even his old buddy (Beat-Kiyoshi) was cast in this film. When I first saw it, I really enjoyed it, but I never thought it would affect me like it did.

i think i missed the point of this movie but it made me feel happy anyway, as far as i can tell it was about the guy and the kid randomly messing around, i'd recomend it.

The kid was looking for his mother who was apparently some successful busy business woman, but when he finds her she's living as a housewife with a husband and daughter. Her letters to him were lies.

It's actually quite a devastating movie. In the most lighthearted way of course.
