I saw the episode with the "Eat my dust man" guy, and his drop was completely reshot than this.

In the episode, he had his arms on his hips, screams like a girl, and the safe zone landed on a different place then this. I have a video on my channel of it.

that crashing sound you hear after they fall, is actually the trap doors clearing (so the contestants dont hit them or ect.) I found that out from a real contestant themselves

I don't think they could make it too deep - while there could be clauses to protect them from lawsuits from injuries sustained from these drops, they would still have legal departments hounding them if the drops were too bad.

They are playing both. The way I know is because in Season 2 the audience turns red when they are playing Russian Roulette. It season 1, it remains blue. Also, if there is a flash right before every drop zone changes colors, it's season 2.
