But shity political stuff aside, thank you SO MUCH for posting these! I too live far away and can't make it to these awesome cons. Would have no other way of seeing this, I really appreciate it so very much!^^
I'm pretty sure that prating music isn't the number one problem in america.
Not to say it isn't a problem, even a big problem. Because it certainly is. But the number one problem in America is the American government. Don't care which color team you root for, they are both a train-wreck these days. The only difference between the two besides their colors and mascots is the flavor of rhetoric and which "critical social platform" they use as smoke screens to polarize voters into picking a side.
It's not actually about America, it's about geek culture, and in a way with such expansion of global culture on the web it's hard to pay for everything ^^
1st - The audience applauds when a guys says he hasn't paid for any of his music in the past 10 years.
2nd- He then asks her when she will produce new songs. i wonder if he'll pay for them.
3rd- He then says 'don't tell the gov't'. okay dude. you didn't steal from the gov't. you stole from the musicians that you are listening to in your ipod.
This 20-something generation expects everything given to them for free. They don't get it.
Hey, first off thank you for uploading this, Its fantastic and I live pretty far off so I'd never have been able to see this otherwise. Also I was wondering whether I could use a clip from the end of this in one of my videos, I kinda want to explain why I quit pirating music. I'll credit and link and all that jazz.
That may be true, but that is why you have to insure that you have creative said control over your media property or they're will be conflict of interest.

mainstream media (tv shows, movies) = more corporate/sponsor control over production.
