  • go ladu!!!! :)

  • 20 people do not know WHAT music.

  • It's about half the original speed, and some notes are off, but neverless pretty good for a young girl!

  • damn!! im 12 and came barely sound like that

  • Does any one know the title of this piece ?

  • @lakschman1234 Paganini Caprices #16 on Violin

  • @ZatchProductions Thanks Dude :)

  • @lakschman1234 No Problem (:

  • HOW IS SHE ONLY NINE YEARS OLD!??!??!?!??! oh my gosh, i'm 18 and i can't do 1/1000 of what she's doing... wow!!!!!!!!!! BRAVOOOOOOOO

  • seabrain you are pathetic calling down a little girl like that i beat she is 10 times better than u go screew yourself.

  • Welcome to the elite!!!!

  • nice... it's so beautifulll...

  • congratulations girl!

  • I am playing this song right now and I know how difficult it is...so I can't believe that one girl who is 9 YEARS OLD can play this...AMAZING...*****

  • I'm sorry but I have read comments on all of the videos that I have ever watched on youtube including someone laughing at plane crashes but your comment probably beat that one. That was a ridiculous comment. She is a nine year old girl who clearly has music talent. I bet you couldn't play this song this well when you were nine. Ok? She probably worked very hard on this piece, maybe she didn't and everybody has a different skill level when it comes to music and I wouldn't be talking and critisizi

  • ng a nine year old girl!

  • @plerimest fuck you. shes hella better then you were when you were that age.

  • Your such a racist and what u have said just sound so Offensive

  • A: i said nothing to consider of racist expect they are all talented and it unimpressive because i would like to see something else rather then an Asian.. nothing against Asians its just over rated.

B: look ,read your very ignorant C: it cannot sound offensive, because words to not make a sound. D: its no racist, its a stereotype. E: is it offensive?, depends on how you see it , statements are opinions but can never be direct to anything.

  • You got your point.just go and think about the word you used- 'asians'.why should we classify peoples learning violin by races and not their ability and talent instead?

i agree that she may sounds not as expressive as other violinist(or just among her age group) but this has nothing to do with her race such as 'asian'.i'd comment the playing base on what i hear and no making my conclusion-' she doesnt sound impressive because she's asian'.sorry if i dint make myself clear previously. Cheers

  • idiot!Idiot! you moron, your putting words that are not their!!!!!

i basically mean the majority of violin players on youtube are Asians and they turn out to be good.. and i think its a bit overrated and annoying, like hearing Paris Hilton on the news for a whole week! its annoying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and i know for a fact that their are more majority rather then Asians that play amazing on violin piano est.I would like a variation basically. ignorant!

  • Dammit... why does everyone automatically assume Asians don't have any passion for their instrument? If you don't want to see an Asian playing it, don't look at the window and just listen...

  • I think that white people can't handle the fact that so many people of a different race can do something so well.

  • i am immediately blown away by her musical talent. WOW!

  • me sige gustando la forma de como toca

  • damn you hella good

  • I've never heard this song before now, but some parts of it sounded kind of off.

Might just be my stupidity though =]

  • even if it is a little sloppy, she is the best child violinist here on youtube hands down!

I actually kinda like her slight sloppyness...I don't know, makes me fell like she's not being robotically trained to achieve technical perfection, thus being the most emotional young player around here =)

  • no... it not a emotional thing.....

it shows she has other commitments rather then one....

in Asian's specifically Chinese,Korean, the people on the main land, are very pushy when it comes to talent.

which is nothing wrong what so ever but it leave a child only knowing on certain subject rather then a variety...

    it's like 50% good 50% bad thing.

  • which directly leads to "the emotional thing"

i mean, i really believe you cannot be a good musician if you don't experience life, instead of practicing violin 24/7

I know it's very important to study hard, but you cannot lose yourself into that

  • which is why its 50% bad..............

no matter what you say my 50% good and 50% bad will cover it all :P

  • no it won't, cuz you said it's not an emotional thing, so either you're contradicting youself, or you did not include that in you 50/50 thing...

oh yeah, and also, you said the 50/50 thing referring to variety of ativities/skills, so once more, either the 50/50 didn't cover all, or you didn't express yourself properly =o

  • First, cuz is not a word.

second, either the 50/50 didn't cover all, is a statement that is against the laws of physics

50% +50%=100% nothing can never be wrong when its a statement of 50%.

What im saying is the effects of the outcome will either be bad or good, it will some up to 100% making it right all the time..

physics call that "cheating in the game"

no matter what you say your statement will lead to me being right all the time

also the emotional thing is referring to 50/50

  • all right then,so you could say 50/50 about pretty much anything in the world,so you would be always right withing that 50%,even if you don't have a clue of what the fuck you are talking about,

its like picking an unknown number and saying " or it's odd or it's even", wow, amazing guess!

pretty solid argument you got there

so yeah, you can take my comment and aply that concept to turn it against me,and tell yourself you won,but still, you might not know just what the fuck you are talking about :)

  • Comment removed

  • not really, I mean ,rationally it's easy to understand, but it still doesn't convince me, beacause it's seems too much of a vague concept to a concrete situation...

well, that aside, getting back to concrete opinions, I just think she's gonna be a really great violinist, best than all the other asian prodigies because she's not rushing into it, and by taking her time and living her life, she'll be a great, passionate player

  • i know for a fact what im talking about because not only am i major in physic and Mathematics but im a minor in English going into a major at U.T.

I'm right studding satiticality probability .

Which is putting ratio of outcome to see get the best answer that would provide the Solution. what they use in stock markets, las vegas, bets, ets based from 50%-50% they will get it right

    50%/50% doesnt mean a 50% alone but 50% divide chance of 50%

    50%/50%=0=50%/50%

    lim = ∞

  • oh, and I didn't say the "you might not know what you are talking about" referring to your skills in exact sciences...

it was just an example to show the vagueness of that concept when it comes to a real conversation, like, you say it's 50% good 50% bad,

yeah, but how is it bad, or why is it good,

    understand my point?

  • CONGRATULATIONS.

  • You are officially the best violinist I have heard today!

    Keep up the nice work!

  • hello nasharyaba, pls note that Paganini caprise basically is a technique study. When Paganini wrote this, the purpose was not to express musical feeling.

** a man who understand classical music, shouldn't be rude like you.

  • beautiful girl beautiful music

    i am enchanted by her

  • I started violin at...like 11, and gave it up because it was too fancy.

    I now play cello.

...I know it's not really relevant but I just felt like I had to throw something out there into this pointless argument.

  • omg LOL me too!!!

    i started at 11.

and stopped and started the cello. x)

  • (ElaineyPang)

Wow! What's it like playing the cello?

  • It's cool! :D

has many fun joys to it... only thing i dislike it having to transport it places!!!

    its SOOOOO heavy..

I used to play the violin.. its much easier to carry, but i must admit i love the Cello more! :D

  • I've always wanted to play both Cello and Violin.

Not necessarily at the same time, although that would seriously friggin rock lol.

  • Wouldn't have been easier to slur the notes? I played the violin for a short while so i don't know a lot about technique but it seems like slur the notes would have been more... effective?

  • not if the notation doesn't call for it.

  • well, that's a different story... ;-)

  • She started violin at age 6. You have a problem with that?

  • What the fuck. You're suck a show off. Who cares if you understand classical music more than us? At least we know SOMETHING. Don't be too serious. Pfft.

  • I understand your point, but playing music with only his heart don't worth anything. Musicians need technique to have a good sonority and after come the feelings. Only genius at 10 years old are enought mature to add feelings to music. Personnaly, i think this girl could do good things.

  • you that girl how said stupid i play the violin you can play it what ever age you what you or a ass whole bitch!!! she is wondeful

  • preciosooooooooooooooo

    saludos dedsde

    MEXICO

  • Smashing

  • You look like the Chinese gymnast. I forgot her name...Chue Fuei? Something?

    Anyways.....YOU'RE AMAZING!

  • r u thinking of cheng fei? anyway, ladusa, i think u're an amazingly talented violinist, listening to u play is so enjoyable!

  • Wonderful! Ladusa, you are very, very good!!! Congratulations!

  • U have made us chinese proud good on u.

  • Ladusa, You are a lovely young lady and a wonderful violinist! Audrey and I are proud of you.

  • EXCELENTE...

  • this is awesome!!!!! go 9 yr old paganini player!!!!

  • LMFAO

  • jeez, what a freaking dumbass you are.

  • I can't believe you have the nerve to call this performance 'poor'. Yes, you're entitled to your own opinion, but your comment is completely arrogant. It's the same as if a child made a decent, quality painting and I said "Yeah, but it's not the Mona Lisa." I don't know what kind of bizarre taste you have in music but I LOVED listening to this piece. And I'd rather listen to a "sub-par" performance than listen to a "perfect" performance from some and arrogant pompous ass like you.

  • I dont think there's anything wrong with having her perform a piece like this. There are no rules about the difficulty level that a child of a certain age is allowed to attempt. Music isn't about comparing one child's performance next to that of someone older or more experienced. You seem to do that, and in the process you're missing out on the very joys of music. Who gives a shit if her performance is mediocre compared to some others? She's still good, and I LOVED hearing it.

  • She is 9! When I was 9 I couldn't even make a sound come out of my clarinet! I don't give a darn about what you think but I think she is good, wait not just good but magnificent!

  • Hear hear! or is it Here here!! Anyway, i agree entirely with your view...she will only get better by playing these pieces. I find that the earlier you play difficult pieces the better your technique and musicality develop. Also when you return to these pieces when you are mature...the basics are already in your brain. cchamp is a CCHUMP!!

  • No tienes ni idea de nada. Para la edad de la violinista está superbien. Bravo!!!

  • Oh shut up. Most kids can't do this, even with tons of lessons and practice.

  • wow...look her face is very happy!!

  • very nice very nice. paganini is VERY challenging. i have been playing violin for around 10 years, and i just want to say that you are doing an AMAZING job. keep up the good work.

  • she started at 6 lols talented ppl T.T i dun have =D

  • You don't know what you're saying.. Jealoussssssss

  • there was hardly any flaws....

  • My god butare you deaf?

Hear you not how she play?

Try to make the same thing once. In this age more..

    We shall see well..

    Sorry for my English..

But it is not my mother tongue..

    Bye

  • more vibrato would be nice. great left hand!

  • Wow, that is really something. I used to play string bass in high school band. I tried violin thinking it would be easy.... I was wrong. I can't believe this.

  • i play the bass too but because of this vid i dont care what my orq teacher says, next year im playing violin

  • You have amazing talent, and good technique wit a very bright future ahead of playing

  • Wonderful playing. Thank you for sharing your talent.

  • great!!! =) congratulations... 9 y old????

    My God!!!

I'll be in Heaven and I will not have ever played the way you do! ;)

  • Don't count your chickens yet...

    Envy is a sin remember.

  • Excellent!

  • i hav dat music stand, lol

  • i love you!!!

  • this i amazing for a 9 year old!

  • that is very impressive!!! i will try to play Paganini songs one day and im getting a violin on Christmas im so happy u have NO IDEA!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOT DO U GUYS NOW ANY VIOLIN BANDS??

  • There is 'Bond'

I'm not sure if that is considered a violin band its kind of strings/rock thingy

  • Hi Ladusa!!You play brilliantly!!I hope to play as good some day:)It's so magical!

  • oh god...oh god!!!!!

    1000/5

    >__>

    How con you do that?!

How can you perform magic in such an easy way?

  • Hehe...intonation is good. technique is very good too. (:

  • Hi, this is Maria. Ladusa you are VERY,Very talented. Keep up the good work!!!

  • Wait...is Ladusa her name?

  • yes, my dad made it up.

  • Oh my God -- I've played both and the Saint-Saens concerto is far more difficult in my opinion.

  • its ok no need to speed up, speed comes alone. ur doing so good, barely any intonatio errors.make sure u use a little more bow, and flex your wrist just a little bit more. and relax and have fun =].

  • nice but you gotta shed off 20 to 30 seconds of your total time

  • nice

  • que raro un chino tocando estas cosas..jajaja aguante los orientales loco, son jodidos obsesivos no por nada tienen el indice de suicidios jodidamente alto

  • YAYYY ladusa!

  • it is very lento

  • she is so talented

  • Yep I agree. Oddly enough I try to play on the violin the way Segovia played Classical guitar i.e. watching how slow his fat fingers moved but still had speed-perfect control.

  • Sounds like the opposite of Anne Sophie Mutter, have you seen her fingers fly? Her trills are very fast though.

  • She needs to relax a little, She seems to be putting a lot of effort.

She is quite the lovely young violinist,

And for a 9 year old... wow... she must practice a lot

The best way to vision it... is play like you are very fat.

Miniumum movement of fingers, relax the bow. And more grace. And better sound shall come.

She seems to be looking for thenotes on the fingers. Let her feel the notes, without her eyes.

But shes nine.. so it will come...

  • Bravo! It was a delight to see a prodigy is receiving such solid training. Is there any exchange students program between Canada and Juilliard in America? Perhaps there might be a few prodigies like to share experiences for few weeks at least.

  • I would be very interested to go Juilliard if there is exchange students program.

  • I think your teacher or parents can help you to find out. I'd like to suggest that check into their website first, such as go to Google and type "Juilliard". In the mean time, ask your teacher to work on the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto and send them the vedio.

  • I meant "to work on the concerto with you". This concerto will prove you're a virtuoso and prepare you for the future international competitions - you'll go places with it. I'm also eager to view your Broadcast Yourself with this concerto. Good luck!

  • Please read "vedio" as "video".

  • Nope, please start with something little easier, for example Saint-Saens 3rd violin concerto- that could be very good for your tone quality and vitousity!

  • second part of this caprice is very difficult. most would take security in playing the more melodic caprices e.g.caprice 2. With time u will get so much better. But well done Most students your age where I live are still playing 'twinkle twinkle little star'!

  • my compliments to the teacher. he/she did very good work with this student.

  • what a beautiful tone for such a young age! did she starts through the suzuki method?

  • She started with suzuki, but 1 year later she got a new violin teacher, then she stopped the susuki.

  • Dr.Suzuki has revolutionized the violin teaching methods and not the violin playing. I know because he was my grand teacher. One day, I asked my teacher about his playing,my teacher replied:"So so." My teacher was a traditional violin virtuoso.
