Ok, now you're going to think I'm stalking your videos, but they are really good. I have a similar set up outdoors for my rabbits and bird, but it's pretty warm here in winter (50s). They use reptile heaters (low watt) under large surfaces (to keep them safe & dry). The plastic really does help cut the breeze and also act as a greenhouse, warming it in the day. Very nice set up and lovely birds.

what kind of chicken is Big Rig?? I have a chicken that looks exactly like that, though I think it's a cockerel! I got him as a mystery chick. My best guess is light brahma?
