  • Maybe it's me, but that was kinda epic!

  • The White Sox telecast introduction was used from 1978 through its last season on WSNS in 1980. It's impossible to forget because the theme song was excessively over-the-top. Ginormous brain-exploding "YEAH!"s do leave permanent impressions, for better or worse...mostly the latter. Just another part of the soundtrack to some incredibly bad baseball.

  • The frickin good old days...

  • Thanks for the Bens Auto uploads.Yukon moose and Bob Luce rip.

  • @VolumedMusicMan Thanks volumedMusicMan. Please subscribe to our channel. Peace, Henry

  • This is seriously really fun to watch, good music and a funny commercial at the end.

  • My God...I thought that I would NEVER seethat White Sox game open again...thank u!

  • Did Dolphin Productions do the TV44 White Sox and Blackhawk game opening credit animation?

  • Hello again Heine71, I have forgotten the exact name of the production facility, but the location of the production facility was in Denver, Colorado. I think it was called Computer Images, they were one of the first computer graphics company in the 70's.

    Respect,

    Henry

  • During the decade that the Sox were on Channel 44, there were two different openings for the broadcast. One had shots of Chuck Tanner, Dick Allen, and the old red uniforms in the early 70's. Then this one came along in the Veeck era. They must have each been used for four or five years.

  • Love this video!!!

Now we know the Blackhawks opening had the Four Tops "Are You Man Enough?",but what song did the White Sox opening feature? Please let us know!!!

  • Hello Blank77, thanks for the comment. I do not know the name of the White Sox's theme song, it was done by another station producer.

    Peace,

    Henry
