I am a fan of Fred The Baker. Michael Vale actually served in World War 2 in the signal corpse in europe and went into acting afterwords. How ironic that he spent his whole career doing food commercials, mostly donuts and he died of complications of diabetes.
R.I.P Fred the Baker, i was just about 3 years old when this aired(in the philippines, usa commercials air late, for ex. a commercial aired on 1986, in the philippines, it will air about 5 years after or something).

SNL did a funny skit with Jon Lovitz portraying Fred the Baker on his last commercial.
