The Death and Return of Superman - Level 2

I played this game just once, many years ago, and always asked myself how Doomsday kills Superman on it... now I have the answer: just ONE hit! hahahaha

but it's OK... gotta follow the comics

With Doomsday being the boss on Level 2 is reminding me of a question I want to ask. Someone told me that they're making a sixth Superman movie after the fifth movie called "Superman Returns" with Doomsday being the villain and not Lex Luthor. Is this true that they're making a sixth Superman movie with Doomsday being the villain? If it's true, does anyone know which actor will be playing as Superman and when this sixth Superman movie goes in theaters?

@afriendofbean: Still unknown. The only known thing right now is that the director will be Christopher Nolan, the Director of Batman Begins and The Dark Kinght.

@Shendue That will be great if Christopher Nolan directs the sixth Superman movie if there is going to be a sixth one since he did great at directing "Batman Begins" and "The Dark Knight" (I'm sure the third one called "The Dark Knight Rises" will be great too). Probably if they make a sixth Superman movie with Doomsday being the villain, and if Lex Luthor is on it, maybe he can be the henchman of Doomsday especially since Lex Luthor never died or got arrested on "Superman Returns."

@afriendofbean: The last news say that Zack Snyder will direct it and Chris Nolan would only supervise the movie.

I didn't like Sucker Punch, but 300 and Watchmen weren't half bad, and they were mostly pretty faithful to the original source, so i guess it would be good.

@S0ryiu I didn't know that since on the first Superman movie, Lex Luthor's henchmen were Otis and Ms. Teschmacher. On the second films his henchmen were Otis (until he was put back in jail), Ms. Teschmacher, and General Zod. On the fourth film his henchmen were his nephew Lenny and the Nuclear Man. Then on the fifth film called "Superman Returns", Lex had a huge amount of henchmen where Stanford (played by Kal Penn) was one henchmen.

you know what I don't get about this game?..He's the Man of Stee..yet he loses health whenever he's hit by a chainsaw or molotov cocktail...he can catch a bullet with his bare hand..yet a mere chainsaw can do him in lmao

Superman was my first favorite hero! since age 3! It was sad when he and "doomsday" died.I dident care that doomsday died i was sad wwhen superman died! ;(

@derekcwly He holds back so that he doesn't kill human opponents. Unfortunately...this means when he fights someone who has the same strength, he has to force himself NOT to hold back.

Just makes me think, if it was say ... Darkseid who killed Superman, this level could of maid alot more sense ... they could of had Parademons rather than random streetpunks anyway (why are a bunch of street punks protecting Doomsday of all peop... creatures?)

They're probably just taking advantage of the carnage caused by Doomsday's rampage to raise hell and cause trouble. They're not "protecting" Doomsday, and we all know Doomsday has no loyalty to anyone.

It's an okay game, it's just rather..boring. Though, it's funny when the bad guys miss when shooting or throwing things at you and end up hitting their friends instead. Another interesting thing about the game was that you can fly at will, unlike the -other- Superman game on the Mega Drive/Genesis..
