These comment are stupid funny and I know I'm mad late but this is one of my favorite half of spirit mix...its also funny how people always say that Norfolk/Meac bands would get ate up by a SWAC band when they are mainly referring to SU. The fuuny thing is, most of y'all probably don't even marched for them put speaking on their behalf. The truth is SU litterally marched circles around your SWAC band and you want them to do the same to Norfolk. Sad I know. And I'm done.

jonesboy84...you are krazy and must havent seen NSU in person B4...The Legion is one of the loudest and also perfect sounding HBCU bands there is...you can bring ASU and SU to Norfolk and I guarentee they will go home wit a big hole in their pride after hearing such a great sounding band...as for band like Alcorn, Pv, and Txsu...NSU would eat there asses alive!

theres a differents between playing powerful and playing out of control like most swac bands(not all)do!!!! its good to make yourself hear but try to play in tune and stay withend the content of the song, playing powerful all the time will just kill the song, thats just how alot of people see it, but its just two styles clashing and it dosn't fit.

LOL!!!!yeah, all that "power" with no control. theres power and then theres over-blowing, don't confuse the two, if your goin to play powerful do it correctly. atleast in the meac people can hear the music without having it blown in the faces. only two bands in your whole conference that stay consistant with sound and playing in tune without overblowing is UAPB and Jackson State.

I don't know where you get this idea that SWAC bands doesn't play with control. I ain't gonna lie every band has it good year and it's bad year. At SU we have cleaned up our tone quality and we play with power and control.

The best NSU has look since 199-2002 was at the honda battle of the bands thats when i felt that they showed that their one of the power houses in the MEAC but from 2002 until then i always felt like NSU was ass i felt like they had water down arrgments and halftime shows but i'm starting to see that their on a come up
