@Ra9199 GED or high school equivalent is enough to be a cop. But its not your education that gets you in because most cops are stupid anyway, it's how well you pass the academy.

I think this is a good idea to have more woman guards. If I were a prisoner then I would feel more comfortable with a woman guard because I would feel like she would not harm me unless I did something to her. With male guards I would feel more like they are more prone to be violent with me for no reason. I agree with comments that there should be male guards as well and it'd be a good idea to maybe have a male and female guard always working together, it may make inmates feel more comfortable.

Guards are always vastly out numbered. It doesn't matter if the guard is a 6 foot 4 300lb guy if it's a whole gang of inmates. Your video is very informational however the "guards" were referred to as officers. That's what they are OFFICERS. You may find this trivial but these women&men should be respected. They have earned it. You cannot walk in off the street & become an officer. They go though a rigorous screening & training programs. They put their lives on the line every time they walk into the prison. A job that most would NEVER think of doing. So please give them the respect that they have earned...OFFICER.
why don't you guy use face guards when talking to inmates? If they shank you in the face, you have no protection. Also, a level 3 spike vest would be appropriate as well.
