  • Another fine work of art- you're a master craftsman!

  • @thelaptopguyoz Thank you for your fine comment

  • The level of workmanship on this engine is outstanding!

  • @scdevon Thank you for your fine comment

  • Do you use sealing rings or gaskets to seal off the cylinder head? I know that a lot of large ships' engines have gone to using sealing rings.

  • @douro20 Thank you for your comment, and I do not use garskets or sealing rings.

  • are you selling the engines?

  • @robot797 Yes I am selling some of my engines

  • @boksermotor witch one?

  • @boksermotor

how much does one of these engines go for?

    where is the inlet manifold?

I cant find it on any of your engines!

  • @tpvalley Thank you for your comment. The engines has no inlet manifold only an inlet port, on the horizontal

engine the inlet valve and port is situated on the top of the cylinder head.

  • your awesome that you can make these engines !! realy nice

  • @soverato3 Thank you for your fine comment

  • how does the fuel injection system work?

  • @nick com Thank you for your comment. If you please go to my latest video:

"Sixposter hot bulb model engine no. 2-06". In this video I explain something about the fuel injection system.

  • @nickzom Just like the full size hot bulb engines in fact. To call it fuel injection is a little misleading. The fuel is pushed under fairly low pressure (compared to a diesel) through an atomizer nozzle. This occurs very early in the compression stroke. The atomizer nozzle has no breakaway action at all, it is merely a (often adjustable) means to introduce a fine mist of fuel into the hot bulb portion of the combustion chamber. A wedge is inserted or withdrawn between the pump plunger (cont.)

  • @nickzom and one of many methods of stroke action from the crank or the cam or an accessory shaft. This varies the "injection" timing slightly and the quantity more importantly. The RPM range of hotbulb engines is very limited. My 10 litre single is redlined haha at 650 RPM and is happier at around 400 where it doesn't jump around quite as much.

  • @schlusselmensch

    thanks!

  • Truly some exceptional craftsmanship! Very well executed with all the little details covered like the oil cans and the throttle lever. Hot bulb engines are some of the most difficult to make run like a Swiss watch as your do. Bravo!!

  • @fordson23 Thank you for your fine comments
