I got my left upper cartilage pierced today...it wasn't like yours with that pistol thingy, it was with a needle and honestly it did hurt a little at first, but I'm fine now, I love it!!

I had my second one done abut a month ago- i'm 16- so I went with a group of friends and they decided to stand there taking the micck- I couldn't wait to get out of claires- everyone was staring!!!

DIdn't hurt at all- only when I decided to get changed and forgot and yanked the earring by accident :)- I'm clever!- and then I had to take them out 3 days later to play sport- - I couldn't believe your not allowed to tape new piecings over anymore for league sports! Got them back in though!

clairs is the worst place to get a pircing. the piercing guns can infect your ears!! but she is pretty. so you get points for that and the music.

thats impossible cuz its the earring that pierces it. the gun just shoots it in there, but theres still a chance. but they do sterilize it. it wasn't that bad. =P

Actually, they can't sterilize it since it's made of plastic(sterilization can only be achieved by an autoclave or chemiclave, which would melt the gun). Alcohol does not sterilize.

Whenever something breaks the skin, there's what's called "backsplash". Basically bodily fluids leak/spray from the area. It's not a major thing, but enough to get the previous person's bodily fluids on the gun(leading to possible infection).

They look good on you though.

i got my ears pierced last week at claires for my second hole and they screwed them up. one of them is farther away from my first hole than the other one is. its terrible.

that's why your supposed to check the dot first. but what you could do is take the earrings out and let the holes and just have them "moved" or repierced. or leave in the earring of which you like the placement and then when the other hole closes over just have it adjusted.

Cute. I think her Dad is as excited about her second piercings as she is. I was surprised they did the second piercing while she was wearing dangly earrings in her first holes. When my son was thinking about getting his second holes they told him that when he went for them he should wear nothing more than small stud earrings in his first holes.
