  • I loved this book, as well as Shanghai Girls, Snow flower and the Secret fan and "dreams of Joy" the sequel to Shanghai Girls.

  • i really loved this book!!! what other books does she have?!?!?! I really want to know!!

  • at rurursia: i bout all three books frm costco. i couldnt find snw flwr n peony anywhere else but shanghai girls is avail at target n ive seen it somewhere else too. plus costco is cheaper, i bought it for 8.99 compare to 15 bucks

  • jnctf: im a big fan of her novels. I have no idea who she was until i bought shanghai girls. I couldnt put the book dwn once ive started. Than i bought snow flower n that book was soooo gooood n sooo sad, i cried at the end. thats one of my fav book of all time. And then i bought peony in love and it fascinated me on how much effort she had put in to do all these research in re to chinese afterlife. But i became such a huge fan of her books, still trying to buy more and i really hope they turn

  • I really enjoy her books, I'm looking forward to reading now "Snow Flower and the Secret Fan". Peony in love was my first intriduction to this writer.

  • Wonderful book if only I could find the peony pavillion

  • amazing book, absolutely wonderful. i wish i could find other books like lisa see's snow flower and the secret fan and peony in love, but i haven't found any. = [

  • I lovet he story especially every part of it.

Lisa used words that are so wonderful and so detailed.

The story is wonderful and lovely but it's also heart-tearing.

It made me happy and it also made me cry.

  • love this story.......

  • Last summer I read this book on a whim, not knowing what it was about. I read it in a day, it was so good. I cried throughout the whole book as well! I think I will read it again this summer.

  • I love "Peony in Love", I cried through-out it but I loved the ending. What a beautiful story - and so similar to "The Peony Pavilion". I so so want to read that play.

For those who have not read "Peony in Love" you really should. It's very moving.
