It was after this season I started to not like the ranger morphs. All they do is get lamer and cornier. I liked it when the morphs were quick and straight to the point. Not to mention the cast getting worse and worse. I actually stopped watching Power Rangers because of the acting skills of the cast just got worse and worse. Not like the acting was ever top notch, but there's a point before it gets ridiculous. Dino Thunder breached that point for me....other than Tommy.
@BlitzChaos09 the original gold ranger was losing his powers so he needed to transfer them to another. billy was originally chosen but was not compatible with the powers. so tommy went out to find jason who he thought would be compatible with the powers. and because tommy is the best he was right and the gold zeo ranger was born!!!

And Jason David Frank, the DB, would always play mean pranks on him, like out a fly in his sandwich, or break a brush over his head. Afterwards, he tried to change himself, got depressed, and ended up in the hospital. He's doing fine now, but that's why he left. He was gonna be in the Turbo Movie.

Hey! For those who say Jason (Austin St. John) was supposed to be given the Gold Zeonizers, if he was given that, his body can handle the alien nature of the Golden Powers and the DiFillippo triplets won't even have a role as the three Treys at PRZ's last episode.
Jason would still be the Gold Zeo Ranger and the morphing call would be "Zeo Ranger VI - Gold!" with the Gold Zeonizers.

Another thing to consider is that if Jason had been given gold Zeonizers, he'd have been an actual Zeo Ranger - but according to the version we see, the gold powers weren't based on a fragment of the Zeo Crystal, they came from his weapon. (It's true there were gold Zeonizers in the original Japanese but they never showed that in the U.S., did they?)

Yeah, he came in as Green Ranger and all of a sudden he was the coolest. I know he brought in viewers with the Green With Evil Saga, but it didn't make him cooler. Jason was a better leader IMO, and Tommy in red is actually less popular. Some people even hate his White Ranger form because of Saba talking and Dragon zord was better. Tommy's character did suck. He wasn't as badass at all in Red, and dare I say it he lost something when Amy left the show. In turbo, he was almost non-existant.

Yeah, I'll admit Billy was cool as a helper but I just thought he really should have gotten the Power. I dont have anythng against Jason, he was great as the Red Ranger, but Billy just always seemed like the better choice. He spent all his time in the Power Chamber helping with the Zords and everything else that it felt like he earned it, then they just screwed him over with the "Negitive Energy" thing so he couldn't take on the power.
I think they only did that because they was writing him off the show since Zeo was his last season. I agree. Thing I didn't like was how they treated David as dead weight and he got paid less which made him decide to leave. This made them change the Turbo movie around. I mean I don't buy the rangers just pushing buttons to create powers and zords.
LOL, me either dude. They treated a lot of actors like shit though. Saban caused Austin, Walter and Thuy to leave MMPR. And they caused David to leave to. They even fired Karan Ashley for no damn reason at all. Karan was supposed to be written off the show like how Kimberly was written off, she was was supposed to be shown getting older again with the other rangers, and than pass down her Zeo crystal to Tanya, but they just stoppoed it for no reason at all.
Saban did make the best Power Rangers seasons ever, but they did treat some of the actors like shit though. When Jason was on Zeo, he was getting paid a lot more than he was on MMPR. He pretty much had Saban wrapped around his finger pretty much lol. Well, we all might miss the Saban days now. But look at it this way, at least none of the actors are being treated like shit now.
I agree. Saban series are better. They did change plans on how Aisha was going to be written off, but Karan said she asked to leave because she had no life outside of the show. Thuy got injured and according to an interview a friend said they all deserved to be getting paid more (which is true) because they were the real reason the show was a hit. 1) Is Kanji for 'king', the Sentai Ohranger counterpart in Japan was called the Kingranger.
2) Has 6 segments, to represent benig the 6th ranger
3) 3 horizontal lines represent each Trey, the single vertical line down through them represents the gold power joining Trey's identities.

I like the Blue Zeo costume the most, maybe its the shade, or how cool the helmet's visor.
The ones that looks the most silly are Yellow because of the unnecessary visor above the first one, and of course the Star shaped one.
But than again, as cool as the Gold Zeo's visor looks, i cant help but think that Jason's vision is rather limited.

Jason was a better leader IMO, and Tommy in red is actually less popular. Some people even hate his White Ranger form because of Saba talking and Dragon zord was better. Tommy's character did suck. He wasn't as badass at all in Red, and dare I say it he lost something when Amy left the show. In turbo, he was almost non-existant.

I agree. There's so many rangers I like better. Just because he's been in the most episodes doesn't mean he's the best. I mean I like him and he's a great fighter but, he's not the best.

I don't hate Tommy at all. Well, I pretty much do lol. I liked him as the Green Ranger. He sucks at being the leader big time. I also liked him a little bit as the White Ranger, just didn't like him as the leader. At least when Jason cameback on Zeo, Tommy was getting his ass kicked. Hell, Jason should be called the best since he is the very first leader of the Power Rangers and the original Red Ranger. They even treated Jason like shit on Forever Red, it was still all about Tommy.

Well, Forever Red should've been based more on Jason then Tommy. It all started with Jason, not Tommy. It would have made more sense if the original Red Ranger was leading the team on Forever Red.

kakarot00676: Wow. Hardcore. I respect your preference, even though I'm not quite a fan of your method of declaring it. Well, they're both good leaders and they're evenly matched in terms of skill. When it comes down to it, it really is all a matter of opinion, and as for my own, I tend to prefer Jason. He's always been a good guy and he's virtually incorruptible. Not so much for Tommy (and I say that with all due respect and love for Tommy, he continues to be awesome, whether good or bad).

Yeah and I thought Tommy was lacking as a leader. Jason has that "it" factor going with him. He had the strong leader-type voice, responsibility, and skills. I hated Forever Red only in it saying he was the best. What a load of crap.

DanteSpardaDMC91, in order for Austin St. John to come back he would have to get serious with his martial arts training all over again....seeing as how he let himself go and has gained considerable weight. It mademe so angry since he was the BEST ranger to ever come!!!! but yeah I too would like to see him return...along withthe rest of the original cast lol maybe with them all having kids to carry on the tradition lol. now THAT'D be AWESOME. we could compare it to MMPR and see if it's good. ^_^

Yeah, I'll admit Billy was cool as a helper but I just thought he really should have gotten the Power. I dont have anythng against Jason, he was great as the Red Ranger, but Billy just always seemed like the better choice. He spent all his time in the Power Chamber helping with the Zords and everything else that it felt like he earned it, then they just screwed him over with the "Negitive Energy" thing so he couldn't take on the power.

I think they only did that because they was writing him off the show since Zeo was his last season. But look at it this way, he was a big helper inside of the command center, if it wasn't for Billy, Alpha wouldv'e had a smaller brain then Justin, lol jk. Oh yeah, if Billy wouldv'e had the Gold Ranger Powers, it wouldn't of lasted that long, look at what happened too Jason.

I agree. Thing I didn't like was how they treated David as dead weight and he got paid less which made him decide to leave. This made them change the Turbo movie around. I mean I don't buy the rangers just pushing buttons to create powers and zords.

LOL, me either dude. They treated a lot of actors like shit though. Saban caused Austin, Walter and Thuy to leave MMPR. And they caused David to leave to. They even fired Karan Ashley for no damn reason at all. Karan was supposed to be written off the show like how Kimberly was written off, she was was supposed to be shown getting older again with the other rangers, and than pass down her Zeo crystal to Tanya, but they just stoppoed it for no reason at all.

Saban did make the best Power Rangers seasons ever, but they did treat some of the actors like shit though. When Jason was on Zeo, he was getting paid a lot more than he was on MMPR. He pretty much had Saban wrapped around his finger pretty much lol. Well, we all might miss the Saban days now. But look at it this way, at least none of the actors are being treated like shit now.

I agree. Saban series are better. They did change plans on how Aisha was going to be written off, but Karan said she asked to leave because she had no life outside of the show. Thuy got injured and according to an interview a friend said they all deserved to be getting paid more (which is true) because they were the real reason the show was a hit. I mean let's face it the main thing ppl liked were the unmorphed scenes, they changed actors and people abandoned it. That's how important actors were

That is all true, but still. The thing about Karan is that she was supposed to have a story set up for her to leave the series like Amy Jo Johnson did. I still think that it's fucked up to just fire someone without revealing what happened to them next. We all know what happened to Kimberly when she left, but we don't know shit about what Aisha is doing now though.

I thought he was awesome in zeo, because he got jipped in mmpr because he was red and didn't get to lead. They should've also given jason the gold ranger morpher which was released I don't know why they left it out.
