  • it goes so fuckin slow

  • When I was your age, around 1978, I built a visible V8 engine and chassis. Very fun.

  • now put some rings on it, a fuel injection system and a fuel tanks and let me know when you get it running off of gas. lol

  • @n280bc you have to sand the connecting rod end and part of the crankshaft... Then it turns just fine.... This project took me an hour and a half, but I also ran in to problems like the timing belt kept slipping off The gear, I fixed that with a washer and one of the pieces of the camshaft didn't line up so I made it work

  • Had the same problem with my grandson's. Seems I didn't pay attention when assembling the valves. Intake and exhaust vales are different diameters and must be assembled correctly. You need to take off the head to correct the problem.

  • kool. I got that same kit last Christmas and I finished it recently, but there's one problem: piston #1 keeps catching and I have to manually turn the crankshaft until it isnt caught anymore. Is there any way I can fix this without taking the whole thing apart and having to put it together again?

  • lets take a drill to that!
